great Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
this song is quite a different song from Crystal kay. Actually, this is the first song that i hear from her(from the cartoon "hagane", i like this song very much, the music is very soft and the lyric is very meaningful, crystal's performance is also excellent. if you like to listen some soft and R&B style song, this song is a good choice for you. get it quickly!

A Change of Mind Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I was ready to file Crystal Kay along with all the other female R&B singers because her voice and her style just never caught my eye. But here comes along the ballad "Motherland" and when I first heard it as the third ending theme for "Fullmetal Alchemist" I fell in love with the melody and noticed just how well her voice fit the words and the melody. The words themselves are beautiful as well, if not too sappy for some who don't suit this genre all that well. Miss Kay's voice is low, soothing and comforting and I don't think I would be able to categorize it in the R&B genre that her songs are usually in. I will say right now that any other singer could have taken this song and and could have made it popular, but it's Crystal Kay's voice that makes it memorable and I give her kudos for the talent that she's probably always had, but only now, I have come to appreciate.

~beautiful song~ Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
The title song(Motherland) has beautiful lyrics. And Crystal Kay's voice is still as good as before. I wasn't much of a fan until I heard the TV-size...I guess this song converted me. (^_^)
Anyway, I'm pretty sure this single is gonna be a solid release.

First For Everything Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Crystal Kay is the type of singer that I usually over look, I guess because I don't listen to her enough or her songs just don't really jive with me, but this song "Motherland" took my by the ears and forced me to listen. The third ending theme for the anime "Full Metal Alchemist" is a nice ballad, both melodic and catchy. If you listen to it enough times, it will stick in your head even if you don't know the words. It is soulful and shows off Crystal's talent as a singer without anything being overdone. Perhaps her upbead songs and I don't get along well, but this ballad of hers will certainly make me want to at least give her upcoming releases and old ones as well a listen or two and will perhaps be one of my favorite songs from Crystal Kay.
