Course of the changes in every album, this one is different in sound but still retain their uniqueness that can only be called dir en grey. Listening through their latest offering, it reminds me and brings me back to the days of macabre darkness and beauty, kisou unique combination of modern and traditional sound and the heavy intensity and maturity of marrow of a bone. And that is what their new sound is like. They have grown so much throughtout the years, be it their musicality and innovation and the daring step to cross over their musical borders and venture into some different sound. Everything that they have put out since the six ugly era, there will be some criticsicm, but let us not forget that they are still a great band for they make music as they like and not solely for the sake of fans. I hope that the next album will be full of different surprises and i really anticipate that.

Great music always from the multi-talented gackt. Songs such as aisenshi, dybbuk, meguriai really pumps you up with heavy guitar and mechanical vocals while his softer, melodic songs like Love Letter, track 3 and 4 are sure will leave you in a very peaceful and happy mood. His music from up till now never failed to impress me, and his popularity as a singer is the proof of that.

March 12, 2008 Excellent piece of workThis cd is the best gackt has put out. For fans who are not familiar with him, this is definitely the cd to check out for besides the sixth day which is a compilation of his top singles. On first listen, you're sure hooked on and will be a gackt fan.

November 9, 2005 Still rocking in our hearts.
This cd is a perfect collection of all the hits composed by hide. Whenever I feel sad or down, I'll listen to hide songs, and it cheers me up. I started listening to hide about 1 year ago, and still the same feeling I felt about hide still hasn't changed. I still like hide, even though he's no longer on earth, singing songs and performing on stage and his funny antics. Buy this cd to relive those good memories between the time when he's around. I'm sure it will cheer you up very much.
