A Must Buy for Cantonese Viewers Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
We have already seen the U.S. version and love the story. Initially, I purchased Mulan in Cantonese so that our 3 year old would become more familiar with the language. This special edition is superb! It is exactly like the original U.S. version except it is in Cantonese. The voices are very believable unlike most dubbed Chinese videos and even the songs are in Cantonese.
I love the movie! My Mom who doesn't speak English can now understand the movie and she loves it! Most importantly, my daughter loves the movie and she is learning more Cantonese along the way.
Even though it is a video CD and not DVD, the sound and picture quality is very good. And you can't beat the price at $10.99.

i remember watching this when it first came out ages ago in HK, i wouldnt say its a classic like some other of the disney cartoon, but it fun, it prob neam more if your chinese i guess. (is this the same version with Kelly Chan and Jackie Chan dubbing the voiceover?????)

i watched the disney version only since i live in NY. went to the theater for it, it was awesome the graphics r very good and the sceneries are just plain breathtakingly beautiful and the cartoon characters are of course very very cute. the disney animators really did an excellent job. BRAVO>>>>>>>

Disney's "Mulan" is a blast for adults and children. I loved the film very much. I watched the original English version at the AMC Theatres in Kowloon Tong. There was also Cantonese and (I think) Mandarin versions screened in Hong Kong.
I also loved the original English soundtrack album and the Chinese version. Kelly Chen, CoCo Lee and Jackie Chan has done a marvellous job with Chinese one.
