本片由著名演員王鍾編導，為1981年的社會寫實電影。故事描述，呂良偉與李修賢在片中均為中越混血兒，由越南逃至澳門，在難民營中，常與土產越南人衝突，乃設法偷渡至香港；其中呂因有親屬在港，且於香港出生，可在港居留，乃與李分散；鄭則仕飾呂之叔父，為一幹練警探，即介紹呂加入警界，經訓練後，派其作臥底。後鄭一次與越南匪徒糾鬥中，遭殺害；警局對此十分震驚，而李則被牽涉入這宗兇殺案中……
Wang Chung was a valued actor long before he became a director (or the source for a new wave musical group's name), but, as a filmmaker, he helped create some of the most interesting thrillers Shaw Brothers ever released -- including this fascinating crime saga of a Sino-Vietnamese crime gang. Danny Lee stars as a misunderstood refugee while Ray Lui plays a cop struggling against his own preconceptions to make sure that justice is done.
