Musical Romeo & Juliette OST (Korean Version)

One of the biggest musicals of recent years and the most successful French-language musical of all time, Gerard Presgurivc's Romeo & Juliette is a modern-day classic. Based on Shakespeare's classic play, the spectacle musical consists of completely original music and lyrics from master composer Presgurivc. While the story is timeless, the presentation is modern and refreshing, delving into the individual characters more deeply and providing new insight into the story. The original French production attracted an audience of over a million in its two-year run from January 2001 to December 2002, and it has since been staged all over the world.

Romeo & Juliette was staged in Seoul from January 20 to February 27, 2007, as the first stop in the production's Asia tour. In the title star-crossed roles are Joy Esther and Damien Sargue, the lead from the original French production. Theater aficionados should take note that for the Asia tour, the production has been updated. In addition to new sets and costumes, there are also new songs not included in the original play. The Korean version Musical Romeo & Juliette soundtrack records the music of this modern theater classic as performed by the Seoul cast.
