The year 1942 sees the British sweep across NOrth Africa with the Germans routed and the Allies counter-attack in Algeria and land Morocco. The fall of Tunisia leave Italy's own gateway wide open. Their defeat in Russia causes chaos at home in both Italy and Germany. Mussolini steps down in 1943. But very soon he resumes control though with Rome occupied by Germany. However, it is time when Hitler elects to remain in his bunker until the last moment, Mussolini has come to the final chapter of his life in his retreat to Milan...
