When a proposal emerges to restore the monarchy in Korea, the figurehead role falls to the long-lost next-in-line in the royal family, which turns out to be Seol. Bristly diplomat Hae Young (Song Seung Heon) is tasked with training Seol into a real princess, but he's got stakes of his own in the royalty debate. Hae Young is heir to the chaebol Daehan Group, a fortune that his grandfather (Lee Soon Jae) is set on returning to the monarchy. Restoration of the monarchy is the last thing Hae Young wants, but he finds himself falling for the princess-in-training who could take away everything he has.
