A follow-up to the 2003 hit comedy My Tutor Friend starring Kwon Sang Woo and Kim Ha Neul, My Tutor Friend 2 features a brand new cast with the same concept and charm. Fresh young stars Lee Cheong Ah (Ssunday Seoul) and Park Ki Woong (Art of Fighting) portray the film's lovable feuding couple. Staying true to the genre, the film readily hams it up, letting the romance bloom amidst oddball humor and hilarious scenes of culture shock and language mishaps. My Tutor Friend 2 is co-directed by Ji Kil Woong, the cinematographer for the first My Tutor Friend and King and The Clown, and Kim Ho Jung who previously served as assistant director on Repechage.

Japanese-Korean girl Junko (Lee Cheong Ah) travels to Seoul as an exchange student in hopes of seeing a Korean student whom she had fallen in love with in Japan. When she arrives at her new university, she finds out that her love-to-be is in the army. On top of that, the guesthouse she's staying at is full of rowdy young guys, including the owner's grating son Jong Man (Park Ki Woong) who also happens to be her Korean tutor. This disagreeable tutor, however, is a lot more interested in teaching her inappropriate words than conjugation. The two initially spend all their time fuming and feuding, but Junko slowly discovers there's more to Jong Man under his insensitive exterior.

억지로 떠맡은 한국어과외가 귀찮은 종만, 서슬퍼런 아버지의 감시에 과외를 접을 수도 없고... 정반대로 한국어과외에 드높은 열성을 보이는 준꼬는 배운대로 전부 흡수하겠다는 일념으로 학구열을 불태운다. 그리하여 시작된 종만의 대충대충 야매과외!
무엇이든 가르쳐준대로 믿고 따라하는 준꼬에게 “간장공장공장장은강공장장, 경찰청철창살은쌍철창살…”을 연습시키며 정작 자신은 그 시간에 술 마시며 땡땡이를 치고, 한국에서 완전 먹어주는 인사말이라며 “눈깔아 씹X들아!”로 시작하는 비속어를 대책 없이 전수! 과외선생 잘못 만나 준꼬는 이미지 추락에 국제적 망신살만 뻗친다. 그러나 열공 과외모드에 돌입한 준꼬의 학구열은 그칠 줄 모르고, 무책임 과외와 비검증 실전 속에 한국생활은 점점 험난해지는데….

Although the main characters of part 1 is entirely different from this film. the movie has nice story. I really like the film, gave me good laugh. It's quite entertaining and the ending is also nice. I love happy endings.

But this film.

I think this movie isn't as good as the first one by kwon sang woo. He is not cute at all. The movie is funny, but the girl isn't even geeky like the cover.I was expecting her to be ugly and then turn pretty.SHe is a transfer japanese girl trying to go to school where this guy she like goes there and she can't speak korean good, so she got that guy to tutor her.
