Myself is the first album from Kary Ng since she left her record company of nine years to join Cinepoly Records, a label under Universal Music in September 2011. The diva-in-the-making has quickly scored a big hit with her first new song "Myself" - the titular track of the album - taking no.1 in all three major airplay charts in Hong Kong. Tailor-made for her by lyricist Lin Xi, the beautiful ballad expresses the idea that girls today are no longer melancholic maidens like Dream of the Red Chamber's heroine Lin Daiyu, but rather strong, independent, and assertive free agents. Besides, Kary's anticipated new album is loaded with other catchy songs like the Eric Kwok-produced second plug "Final Destination".
