Nana Tanimura's BEST isn't really a BEST album... more of a Singles Collection. Ever since I first heard her song "Jungle Dance" I totally loved her music. She can sing and dance really well. However, she kept on releasing SO MANY singles and taking SO LONG in between each one to the point that I began looking up small clips of the songs online, but paying no attention to the single itself, so maybe I'd at least be hearing something new to my ears when an album finally did show up. None of these songs are new. They're all from her previously released singles. Still, all the songs are very good. My favorites being Jungle Dance, Sexy Senorita and Crazy For You. There's an English Version of "If I'm Not The One" on here, which I thought would be interesting... but the lyrics could have used a little work, and her English isn't too impressive anyways. As for the DVD, it's 13 Music Videos. They're all quite good; some better than others. As for the packaging, it's a simple jewel case that flips so one side has the CD and the back side has the DVD. The pictures however are practically none. The only picture we get of her face is on the very front. Yeah, you're already looking at it here on YA. The back of the case has a picture of her foot in a white high-heel shoe, and behind the CD disk inside is a picture of her arm reaching upward grabbing onto some string. This is it. The inside of the booklet is all violet and white pages listing the songs lyrics. However, on the very last page she does have a very sweet Thanks message to her fans and everyone else in her life written in English. All in all, I enjoy the CD and the MV DVD, but I'd honestly only recommend this to those who really liked her singles and didn't buy most of them already.
