Each time I immersed myself in the plot totally. I cannot help it as both the male and female leads play the roles of Yu Hang and Meng Han so convincingly. Liu Hsueh Hua never fails to amaze me how she can cry so easily. She is an excellent actress.
In this serial, you really cannot help liking Kenny B too. He played the role of Yuhang who is such a flawless character. So upright, so righteous, so likeable. You cannot help loving these two characters.
The only setback is that this serial had no credits at the end of the movie. So I could not tell what the title of the songs were. If you are a Qiong Yao fan, this is a must to add to your collection.

October 20, 2008 ideal pair
When it is a movie with leads like Alan Tang and Zhen Chen, nothing can go wrong. They are such a perfect couple together. Plots may be thin but the movie will still be enjoyable as you get sink deep into the story together with the couple. I could apathise with Zhen Chen in her character as the submissive care giver who had to look after arragont Alan who became blind after a major car accident.

Ke Jun Hsiung and Zhang Mei Yau were well paired in this movie. The chemistry between them was just stunning. Both looked their best ever. I love tear jerkers so this movie was really nice.

She does not have to say anything. Her acting is that good that she does not have to say a word. By just reading her actions and facial expressions it is enough for us to get emotionally entangled in the plot. I cried buckets EVERYTIME I watch the series.
Lin Rui Yang also gave a very convincing show of his acting talent. He is well matched with Liu Xue hua. They do make a very compatible pair of lovers.
I like this movie a lot. It is just so touching. My heart goes out to the mute Yiyi.

November 16, 2006 susannaThe long wait for this movie to be restored is really worth it.I find this movie the BEST restored movie of all Shaw Brothers Movies. It is extremely clear and I cannot find any flaws in it. This should defintely be Li Ching's best movie. The role of Susanna suited her very well and she played the role of a spoilt brat so perfectly. I cannot remember if she was nominated or won the title for best actress for that year but if she did, she really deserved it. This is defintely a must watch movie! It is one of the movies that will tug at your heart strings. Get ready tissue paper.

March 28, 2006 Why I love youThe storyline is pretty lame but because the male and female leads are my all time favourite, I enjoyed this movie very much.
The entire 88 minutes of the movie is about how Alan met Zhen Chen and how they spent 24 hours together and realised that they truly love each other.
The only problem is that Zhen Chen just got married to Jiang Ming the day before. Jiang ming was her university lecturer. On the night of the wedding, she realised that she did not love him... it was just an admiration. She could not bring herself to consummate the marriage and sneaked out in the wee hours of the morning.
Love is just a very mysterious thing. Words really cannot quite explain why you feel for another person. This may be the reason why till today poets are still trying to find ways of expressing this complicated feeling.
My stand is this movie is worth watching. The on-screen chemistry between Alan Tang and Zhen Chen is really fantastic.

October 3, 2005 My opinon of Gu Ming Lun changes in this movieI never knew Gu Ming Lun and Zhou Dan Wei are so compatible. They look good as a couple in this tear jerker.Ke Jun Hsiung who plays the role of Zhou's father is pretty convincing as a conman.
You will never believe how in life one misfortune can follow another with no end to it. Quite unrealistic but then that is what tear jerkers are all about
If you like happy endings, this is not the movie for you. The female lead dies in this movie.
Fortunately, I just LOVE movies where I can have a good cry.
