Become Naruto in Naruto Shippuden Shinobi Retsuden 2 for the Nintendo DS! This handheld adventure puts players in the stealthy shoes of everyone's favorite ramen-eating ninja, as he journeys through Konoha in search of his destiny. The game takes place during the later "Shippuden" story arcs, with Naruto aged from his previous, more immature twelve year-old self. Also along for the ride is the complete complement of Naruto supporting characters, including Sasuke, Neji, Sai, Rock Lee, Sasori, Sakura, Kakashi, Guy, Temari, Gaara, and more.

The sequel to Naruto Shippuden Shinobi Retsuden (a.k.a. Naruto: Ninja Destiny, Retsuden 2 combines dungeon-crawling with 3-D fighting, as Naruto and friends must take on ninjas and bosses to level up. Power-ups are used via the DS touch-screen, and represent the trademark Naruto "jutsus", which allow players to teleport or activate a power attack. Power-up moves use a player's chakra, but regular physical hits on opponents can restore the chakra supply. The single-player mode provides plenty of dungeons to explore, and intensive exploration can unlock more playable characters or minigames.
