If you want to learn English, please do NOT touch this album.
This is an embarrassment to all Chinese. Jolin has really bad diction.
She should not be making an album in English. She has mutilated some really good songs in this album.
I cannot believe that her company allowed her to produce an album in English!
And to promote this as a tool for Taiwanese youths to learn English? WHAT A BIG JOKE!!
Her English may be considered above average in Taiwan. But in the English -speaking world, it is not even average!!!
Am absolutely horrified!
It is bad enough that a lot of the chinese singers sing English covers really badly ( read awful diction, mispronounced words etc)
but at least they do not claim to be good enough to teach English with their songs....help us!!!!!!

much prefer his later albums. thankfully his voice has improved a lot.
can hear him straining his voice throughout this album. i almost think he should do a re-recording of this first album with his improved singing ability.

the rest of the songs were ok but didn't really stand out.
i think she's got potential.

her fame comes from acting cute.
unless you are tone deaf or you're a blinded ( and deaf) teen groupie who looks up to her as some teen idol, avoid this cd at all cost.

November 3, 2007 best album from tanyameaningful lyrics. beautiful songs in distinct tanya style. few people (if any)sing like her in the chinese pop world. she's been likened to kt turnstall but she has been in the music industry, writing songs way before kt turnstall did. great album, worth every cent!!! November 3, 2007 so boringbeing a jay chou music fan,i have every single jay chou album and this one is the worst. maybe he's been too busy with filming ( like lee hom). the cowboy song is cute, creative and unexpected but i won't say it's a good song. the rest of the songs sound like his previous music but with really boring melodies. nothing catchy.
jay's voice has improved a lot since his first album. and i have no doubts abt his music talent. his voice has never been that good but he's made up for it by his enormous talent in song-writing and production. but this time, i think he's been spread too thin.
wasted my money. only die-hard teeny-bopper or tone-deaf fans will indulge in this album.
