OMG!! THE BEST!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is the best CD I have ever had. All her songs are SO good, and her voice is addicting. You HAVE to get it, or you're losing out on a great musical talent!

More good stuff Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I discovered Aiko about a year ago, quite by accident, while searching for photos of a Japanese model whose given name is Aiko. Let me say, it was a happy accident! Aiko was the first Japanese singer I ever heard, and I was immediately hooked. I think it is a testament to Aiko's talent that, even though I do not understand the Japanese language, I can still *feel* the emotion in her songs. This is different from many other Japanese pop singers I've heard. She seems to me to be someone who truly loves making music, and she puts everything she has into each song. "Natsufuku" continues that trend. Once more, I was excited by the music in spite of my ignorance of the language. I also like the way she leaves the little imperfections in, instead of polishing everything to perfection. That makes the performances seem more real and personal. I really like the use of strings on Track 1. Track 2, "Be Master of Life" rocks. It sounds like she used the same musicians who played on "Renai Junkie" for this track. Track 10, "Boyfriend", is delightfully fun. A clever combination of different musical styles (a banjo on a pop song?) My only wish is that these "Overseas versions" of Japanese CDs would come with an English translation of the lyrics. Or, at the very least, Romaji renderings of the song titles so that I could refer to the names rather than "Track 1, Track 2..."

Average (for an artist of Aiko's caliber) Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Think of it this way: compared to her two previous albums (which were both incredible), this new album comes as a disappointment. Aiko is an exceptional talent though, and even at her not-so-best she is still very good. This is worth the 30 bucks and that's all you really need to know.

It's like this: if you compare NatsuFuku to her exceptional first and second albums you'll be disappointed. But let's face it, even at her not-so-best, Aiko is still better than most of the other jpop artists out there. Is this on par with her first two albums? No. Is this worth the money? Yes. Yes. Yes.

why I give it an 8 Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
most of the songs on here I already have from previous singles or albums. The new songs aren't that good. I hope her next album is much better than this.
