New Police Story is probably one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. don't know why some people are saying it was bad. It's actually good and has a fine storyline with Jackie Chan as the main protagonist of the film along with a great cast including Nicholas Tse, Twins' singer Charlene Choi, Charlie Yeung, Daniel Wu, and Andy On. Jackie Chan fans will definitely not be disappointed. check it out!

Surprised, good & bad Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
This movie by far surprised me, though probably my own fault since I hadn't seen the original. It was great getting to see Jackie in roles other than the comedies I've seen him in. However, my experience only with mainly American fighting movies, I was really surprised by the first 20 minutes and simply stared at the screen in shock. Didn't like that part at all, even though sets up the movie. Was great seeing Nicholas Tse in a much more light-hearted supporting role, instead of the normally quieter brooding fighting roles. He got to show up his comedic timing in addition to his fighting skills. Also, got to see some great up-and-coming talented martial artists/actors such as Andy On and Philip Ng. If you go in watching with a correct understanding of the premise that it'll be gory/heart-wrenching, it's good.

Big stars!!! Big movie... a well deserved wins and nominations. Jacky Chan is good in his drama role and the usual perfect stunts. That goes to Daniel Wu and Nicolas Tse too. A movie worth buying and keeping. Don't miss it!!!

What a comeback! Jackie in his element showing that he can portray emotional scenes, so much tears and his 'drunken' scenes are very convincing. Daniel was great in this different role as we normally see him portraying slightly 'gayish' guys in the past. Action choreography was ballistic especially when Jackie and Nicholas try to stop the robbery in progress. Daniel's partners-in-crime gave a good show on mountain-bikes and skateboards. Gotta see it!!!

Jackie chan is the man Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This is a good movie with an engaging plot. Jackie Chan is looking for the group of people (including DANIEL WU) that killed his police team which also included his brother in law. I initially only wanted to watch this movie because BOY'Z were in it but they only had a very small part. Everyone should buy this movie.

Finally,Jackie partnered with Benny Chan again to do another Police Story which have remained one of my favourite Jackie Chan movies of all time.

To have Charlene returning on screen again and still looking good is superb and include two of the hottest stars, Nicholas Tse and Edison Chen in it makes it even more worthwhile to watch this movie and purchase it.

This movie has Jackie's trademark which is full of action packed and comedy as well.

this movie was amazing! i loved the cast especially DANIEL WU!<3 the storyline itself was amazing and well done. i loved the action parts with Jackie Chan, then again who doesnt? :] from the movie i learned that everyone has an alter-ago. this movie is a must watch!

omg! i can't even describe how i love this movie..in my opinion..this is THE BEST movie i've ever watched so far!!! okay.i admit it's been a while this movie is out..never had the time to watch movies..but this one..seriously..after the first 15 minutes..i'm hooked...not only the gun scenes were done amazingly..the suspense and excitement build up so quickly..all the cops were down..the bad guys winning by a mile...jackie chan going through all the pain and sorrow..all i can say was WOW..overall..the movie from beginning to end was very thrilling..a lot of action and suspense..cause basically it's a general cop movie..bad guys vs good guys..but it's not about robbing a bank or anything (even though it did involve scenes like that)..but it's about psychological issues..and parental relationships..it might sound a bit silly and farfetched..but it's something new and original..nothing you have seen in the market before...and what really also amazes me was the production of the film..there were a lot of movie stars + singers involved..which is pretty cool..instead of using all those random unknown people...but all the stunts was just incredible..i couldn't believe that the 'going down the building' scene was actually real..and nicholas and jackie did the actual stunts too (even though i do know jackie chan does all of his stunts)..but the amount of time and money put into this film is probably a tredmendous amount...having to close down streets in central (an area in hk) is not an easy thing to do

i would recommend this movie to anybody..seriously..even though if u're not into action movies or not..if u just watch this one..it'll leave you breathless!!

YO DOG! This movie ROCKS!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Two thumbs way UP for "New Police Story", has all the elements - action, drama, comedy, romance and more! Major players Jackie Chan, Daniel Wu, and Nicholas Tse were most excellent! The martial arts fighting scenes were believable & awesome! Also, can't beat Charlie Young and Charlene Choi (SA, the taller Twin) provided the girl love interest factor. Intense and FAST pace all the way! MUST SEE!!!
