fabolous! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I simply love this album! My favourites are "Guru Guru", "We are.", "135", "Eien" and "Summer Days". Usually I don't like Christmas songs so much, but these two (We are and Holiday) are just... wow!!! I love them!! The songs are just fantastic and very good to dance. Summer Days is special because it's in English. The guitars are quite loud so you won't notice mistakes in the pronounciation ^.^ It's one of the best albums EVER.

-sighs- What to say about New World... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Being the second album to be released by Do As Infinity, it also takes on a whole new style of its own. The title track is 'New World', where Van Tomiko and Owatari Ryo combine voices to create a powerful rock song. And not surprisingly, it fits the album quite well. Because that's really what it is: Powerful and loud, but strong. Many other songs show this fact. 'Desire', 'Snail', '135', and 'Summer Days' are great to jam or headbang to. But of course, we can't forget Do As Infinity's soft side. It shows through songs such as 'Guruguru', 'Eien', and 'Wings 510'. We also can't leave out the bold 'We Are' with its Christmasy tune and... what's that? Sleigh bells? This is one album so unique with its fresh melodies and simple but catchy electric guitar riffs, that you will never get tired of listening to it! If you like artists with total control of their music, this is the album for you! Although I have to admit that Break Of Dawn was a lot easier on the ears, I still definitely recommend this to everyone. Trust me, you won't go wrong!

Nagao Dai is simply a genius Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This album is better than the last one, and with Owatari and Van composing some of the songs, it gives it more flavor.

But Nagao's "Desire" and "We Are" are the real gems here.

classic DAI!!! ^^ Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
New World is a great album that showcases "classic" DAI songs:

01. new world - it has the typical heavy metal guitar sound of j-rock in the background, a really good beat, and a Wah-Wah guitar in the interlude (strange, but cool). it might get a little repetitive because of the repeating chorus, but all-in-all, it's a pretty good DAi song.

02. GURUGURU - a fast-paced song that has a happy chorus. one of DAI's more poppish songs, but that's not a bad thing. it's a good song to listen to if you're feeling down.

03. Desire - It doesn't really stand out, but it's a good, solid DAI song with catchy instrumentals. i think it's similar to new world.

04. We are. - DAI's first Christmas song on the album. it's a really nicely written jingle, showing off Ban-chan's vocal abilities. it's a really hopeful song, and there's a cool little jazzy interlude.

05. Snail - probably one of DAI's most rockish songs. the verses move at a "snail" pace, and the chorus is really loud and rocking. great song.

06. Eien - this song grows on you. i really like it now. when you first listen to it, it's nothing special, but it has a sweet tune. a nice slower song from DAI.

07. rumble fish - it has a really distinctive beat like new world and Ban-chan's aggressive singing. very nice.

08. Holiday - DAI's second Christmas song on the album. i can't help thinking that i've heard this song before. it's nothing really special, but it's not bad, either. good background music for doing homework (XD).

09. 135 - this song is even faster than GURUGURU, and it reminds me of GURUGURU, too. it's really catchy, so try not to get it stuck in your head when you're taking a pre-cal test (...). nice song. but then, all of the songs on this album are nice.

10. Wings 510 - a remix of their Wings B-side. it sounds a bit country in the beginning and in the verses, but it switches to rock in the chorus. a nice remix. it makes the song more fun.

11. SUMMER DAYS - DAI goes punk! it's all sung in English, and Ban-chan's English is better than most Japanese singers. it's the most negative song about summer that i've ever heard. and the English lyrics are grammatically perfect (did DAI write this???) it's kinda weird hearing Ban-chan sing "seaside motels and sex on the beach/ don't be thinking i went all the way"... a nice, hyper song with a heavy electric guitar beat.

New World: Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
A spellbounding and amazing soundtrack, 'New World' practically sweeps you off your feet and brings you into another domain of fine harmonies and tunes. After the success of 'Break of Dawn', their first album, Do As Infinity has accomplished yet another amazing feat through their new release 'New World'. As usual, there's the remarkable guitarwork that's dominant in all of their songs and the rich vocals, compliments by Tomiko, which always blend in with utmost intricacy into the songs. 'New World' includes hit singles such as 'We are', 'Desire' and'Rumble Fish' which have left a deep impression on DAI's fans. In line with the inherent power of such popular singles are marvellous tracks like 'Guru Guru' and 'Snail'. There's also an all-English track 'Summer Days' which is a very fast-energy and high tempo song. This is quite unique since it's not often that Japanese artistes attempt a full display of English singing due to pronounciation obstacles. However, it is a very good DAI song nonetheless and it's always nice to have a track like this! The overall packaging of this album is very good, with a fine selection of well-performed tracks. DAI has been very good to the masses with the release of such a top-notched CD, so people out there better support them by buying this one and only album! Definitely a must-buy!
