Product Information
陸軍は正面攻撃に固執し、第二次、第三次の総攻撃も失敗する。真之は要塞の陥落は必要なく、艦隊さえつぶしてくれれば良いと主張し、二〇三高地の攻略を進言する。乃木は苦悩するが、第三軍の幕僚たちは要塞陥落を主張する。一方バルチック艦隊は刻々と日本に近づいていた。海軍の要請に、乃木も二〇三高地攻撃を決意するが失敗する。二人の息子を同じ戦場でなくし、万策尽き果てた乃木の苦境を見かねた満州軍参謀長、児玉源太郎が旅順にやってくる。テントの中、乃木と二人きりで話し合った児玉は、一時的に第三軍の指揮を執ることを決意し、二〇三高地を全力で攻める。死闘の末、二〇三高地は数多の兵の犠牲の上、陥落する。
