"Are you afraid of getting fat?" so ask Pa Pun in their 2009 new album. Consisting of guitarist Shan Liang, bassist Wee Man, and drummer Paul, the Taiwan independent band have won awards at the 2007 Taiwanese Rock Carnival and the 2008 Hohaiyan Rock Festival. Their funny songs and the comical dance moves they perform on stage have endeared them to many listeners, and some fans have even said they are the coolest pop punk band playing in Taiwan. Pa Pun's latest album comes with 13 songs written by Shan Liang, including "Won't Pick Up Your Call", "Deadly Dodgeball", "Mom's Notebook", "After Class I'll Hit Your Ear", "The Night I Was Caught Cheating", "Aliens Have Come", and "Mosquito Come Bite Me! I'm Not Afraid of You!"
