July 8, 2006 Canto-Pop WonderAlthough I'm a little late reviewing this wonderful CD, Fiona Sit truly is the Canto-Pop wonder of this age. Most of the songs are ballads, which are so heartfelt and touching, accompanied by beautfiul music. The lyrics are very special too, not only about love but about these strange/cute subjects like "Ugly Duckling" or "Madonna's Kiss". Her pronounciation is great too. Each note is truly magnificent. I HIGHLY recommend this album for all Chinese music listeners. But I have to admit, Fiona is one strange girl with the lyrics and drawings/doll ;) Her voice is great! Self Portrait (Overseas Version)
July 8, 2006 Jpop AngelHitomi is great. Similar to Keiko (globe) she has this extremely catchy voice, that flows really well with the music. Her songs are so catchy, that you can't wait to sing along with her (once you know the lyrics). It's a best album of hitomi, and my first hitomi album as well. It's a great buy itself, a two disk compilation, which no song I dislike. Disk 2 features some of her older songs, from TK's work. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Peace B. REMIXES (Japan Version)

July 8, 2006 One of the Best..Remix AlbumThis Remix album for BoA's 1st album has definitely surpassed my expectations. All the remix tracks are unique and catchy. Most I can even say are better than the originals. These remixes are different than other's I've heard, because you can hear BoA's voice quite clearly, but with a catchy arrangement of the music. It's great to dance to, interesting and powerful along with BoA's strong vocals. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
BoA - Love & Honesty

July 8, 2006 My Favorite BoA Album. This CD is truly a jem. Unfortunately BoA doesn't sing this kind of decent music anymore. If you want the good and real BoA, get this CD. It features catchy pop and heartfelt ballads that really show BoA's voice talent well. BoA really has talent. You won't see that more than in any other album than "Love & Honesty". A must-have for any Jpop-collector. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
July 8, 2006 Catchy!
Wow, this is such a catchy album! Keiko sings with a very special voice, which is unique to any other Jpop female I've heard. The charm of this album indeed is in Keiko's voice (did I mention catchy?), matching perfectly with TK's techno music. I'm a little dissapointed with the short disk 1 tracklist, but disk 2 makes up for it, since it's an album by itself. If you like techno/trance and want to hear Keiko's unique sound get this album! Final -Live at Budokan 2005.11.25 (Hong Kong Version)
July 8, 2006 PEACE & LOVEI love this concert DVD in every aspect.
1. The great performance itself
2. Ban-chan's emotion
3. Great tracklist
4. DAI fans
This 3+ hour long concert begins with the explosive "New World", and ends with the nostalgic but fun "Ai no Uta". Tomiko Vans brings her vocals to perfection, hitting the notes perfectly and doing her best in portraying her emotion in each and every song. The interaction with the crowd was good too, with Ryo and Ban-chan together, and special guest appearances! It's surely a concert you won't ever forget, for those who will always remember Do as Infinity.

Do The Best 'Great Supporters Selection' (Hong Kong Version)
July 8, 2006 A Nice CollectibleThe tracklist is great, because it is selected by DAI fans themselves, on a two disk mega compilation. Now you know what songs DAI fans love the most, counting from the top 1 to 30, out of 86. The booklet has interesting comments in Japanese (some are American fans too, I think) which is translated in the HK version of this CD, and also original lyrics booklet for the selected songs. So get it now while you can, it's a great DAI collectible. I would definitely recommend it if you are new to DAI, because obviously these 30 tracks are what's popular and what's recommended by all DAI fans! Did you find this review helpful? July 8, 2006 A Jem of the DAI CollectionWow, this inexpensive edition comes with all of Do as Infinity's regular albums and one extra material DVD. The individual albums (nicely wrapped, and then put in the box) include all the original booklets. And since this is the Korean version we get a Korean translation of all the album songs. What is also included is a brief history of DAI, their discography, and biographies. What's even greater is the extra material DVD. It includes all DAI single/album cm's, their special live performances, short PV makings, and special commentary. Sadly I've just began to know DAI after their separation, but I'm glad that I bought this as a remerance of their greatness and as a token of great music--which is great, to any new fans out there, I definitely recommend this Box to you! It's a great chance to grab all their albums at once, for one low price. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Venus (Normal Edition) (Hong Kong Version)
July 8, 2006 The World of T&T!This was the first Tackey & Tsubasa single that turned me into their fan. I bought both versions of this single, for the different cover pictures. The A-side "Venus" is a catchy and flamboyant song which will stayt in your heads for, let's say, quite a while. The single also features two tracks with T & T singing individually, and then versions of "Venus" in different languages. Their pronounciation may not be the best, but it's still fun and interesting to listen to their cute voices. This song just makes you want to dance and embrace! I recommend the music video of "Venus" too, which shows them and ethnic people dancing parapara, and then a cool making video, which I watched to finally learn their popular dance (which is very popular in Japan now). LOVE COOK (CD+DVD) (Overseas Version)

March 15, 2006 DVD reviewhey it's me again, I forgot to include a DVD review in my previous review. Well the "cherish" pv is quite awesome, and fits the song perfectly. The setting is gothic and mysterious! And the biidama pv is cute-style, but nothing special. Ai is so cute though! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
LOVE COOK (CD+DVD) (Overseas Version)
March 15, 2006 Pretty GoodI absolutely love Ai-chan's "LOVE PUNCH" album, so "LOVE JAM" dissapointed me a little, but it's still a very good album. And for "LOVE COOK" the same thing goes: nothing is better than "LOVE PUNCH" in my opinion. But still, Ai-chan is very talented and this album is quite alright. the single tracks are very nice especially "smily" and "neko ni fuusen". The album tracks are quite weak compared to Ai's previous works. The melodies tend to repeat and are quite bland. Overall this is an enjoyable album, but I prefer "LOVE PUNCH" because I like every song off that album! <3 Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

March 15, 2006 Alright song...but..Ayumi is drifting further and further away from her past self, with one look at the cover you'll realize this. Well I like the cover because it features a very classy, and refreshed Ayumi-look. but the songs themselves dissappoint me a little. Startin' is quite catchy but so different >_< and I could tell that this is not a song that I will listen to throughout the years. It's just that I think Ayu could do better. And the bside born to be... sounds simply boring to me. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
Secret (CD+DVD) (Hong Kong Version)
February 12, 2006 Excellent AlbumThis was the first album I heard from Koda Kumi. All the songs are the typical Jpop but are unique because of Koda Kumi's unique and poweful voice. The cover./booklet art is awesome too. A must buy Jpop item of 2005 Koda Kumi is getting up there! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
No Regret (Japan Version)

February 12, 2006 great musicI love the music to this song. And the beat is very catchy and fast-pased. Some may think that this song is "too similar" to "butterfly" or "cutie honey", but that is wrong. "No Regret" has a anime/classy feel that depicts itself apart from the other two Kumi songs. The 'Rain' unplugged (live) version is very nice too. The original song can be found on Kumi's "Feel my mind" album. The live version is very emotional and has a different arrangement from the original mix. the instrumental to "rain" original mix is included on this single CD Did you find this review helpful? February 12, 2006 WOWI think this is the best Hikki single so far. Keep Tryin' has a unique Western sound to it, and is so very catchy. I like the lyrics too. A must get for Hikki fans! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -
January 26, 2006 Oh my!
I can not believe Penny's music is THIS great! And from my knowledge she produces/writes/composes the entire album!! Besides that, her voice is awesome. Penny really puts emotions in her songs, especially ballads. I like to relate her style to Rene Liu. Her voice is very versatile and flexible, you can get addicted listening! I love every track on this album, which is rare for Cpop CD's nowadays, so get this!! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

Frankie Wang - Fengie 2005 (Korean Version)
(1)Our Price: US$15.99List: US$22.99Save: US$7.00 (30%)Usually ships within 7 daysJanuary 7, 2006 A Musical Talent Without Likable ContentWhat I mean by this is that Fengie is definitely a talented musician because she composes/writes/produces for all her songs, and before has done so for many famous artists. But unfortunately I do not see anything special or even pleasant in her album (I've never heard of her before this CD). Sure, she uses her own talent to create each and every song in this song, which is rare, but none of the songs really have any content to which I like. Her fast songs are pretty catchy to listen to, but I would never play those songs for any pleasure. Mainly because Fengie's voice is very husky (in a scary way), and I doubt that she knows anything else besides "singing low". I'd much prefeered if Fengie was a man...because her voice is the least womanly. One thing I have to admit is that she is a good rapper...but rapping isn't too important with that low of a voice. I don't despise her voice but the music style- "Fengie hip-hip" just isn't to my liking. I can't follow the beats at all! P.S. props to Fengie for her eagerness to produce and compose for an entire album! Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

January 7, 2006 Great Voice, Bad ImageI am so glad that Cyndi's music style is more collected in this album, over the dissapointing "Honey" album. Unfortunately Cyndi still hasn't ditched the semi-Ai Otsuka image that she is envoking, and this time, the album pictures were shot in TOKYO itself. Cyndi should stop the cute-acting because she does not look good in the album pics at all (rather dizzy-silly, I'd say). But if you don't care about image this album should be to your liking because Cyndi finally ditches the cute-silliness her "Honey" album. Her voice has matured quite a bit, and I could even hear a little vibrato in one of the songs. The ballads are very touching (Cyndi's best singing style) and the fast songs are very catchy even at ther first listen. This album will grow on you...If you haven't heard Cyndi before I should tell you that she has a high soprano voice with a little vibrato (only in this album). Her singing skills are no doubt great! January 7, 2006 Pleasant Voice and MusicI've seen many movies and series starring BingBing and not to mention, her acting skills are awesome. She also has a very husky and unique voice, even a little nasal. Another highlight of this debut album is the music. It's quite different from other mainland China compositions and definitely better than most I've heard. BingBing's music is very relaxing and a refreshing start for her musical journey. Her ballad songs are very dreamy and catchy. She's still learning so I hope to see improvements in the future. Like I said her voice is not very powerful but very unique...and a pleasant listen...definitely an above-average artist. P.S. the album pics of BingBing are beautiful! Hero (US Version)
January 1, 2006 A Decent Movie with Excellent ArtistryFirst of all, the images in this movie are beautiful. Each camera angle was thought out carefully by the director, envoking vibrant colors that portray the mood of the scene. It's the artistic quality that has captured me when watching this film. The plotline is pretty interesting, with skilled actors/actresses. It's a step-up from previous martial-arts movies. Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
