A continuation from the 2008 drama special, Part 1 opens with stern conductor Chiaki (Tamaki Hiroshi) being assigned to revive a failing Parisian orchestra before it’s forced to be shut down. Meanwhile, cheerful piano wunderkind Nodame (Ueno Juri) continues to struggle to balance her devotion to Chiaki and her studies at the music academy. With original cast members Eita, Koide Keisuke, Mizukawa Asami, Wentz Eiji, Becky, Yamada Yu, and Naoto Takenaka along for the popular series' finale, Nodame Cantabile - The Final Score promises to be the funniest, craziest chapter yet.

指揮コンクールで優勝した千秋（玉木宏）は、エリーゼ（吉瀬美智子）の差し金で、若き日のシュトレーゼマン（竹中直人）が音楽監督を務めた「ルー・マルレ・オーケストラ」の常任指揮者となることに。さっそくフランク（ウエンツ瑛士）とマルレ・オケを偵察しにいく千秋。しかし、ものすごく大雑把な上に合っていない演奏とまったくやる気の感じられないオケの態度を目の当たりにして、あまりのショックで愕然としてしまう。老舗のオケにもかかわらず、近年資金不足のため、リハもままならず、多くの団員が辞めていき、公演も観客が集まらず、悪循環が続いているらしい。しかも、コンサートマスターのシモンは、千秋に協力的ではない。千秋は失意のどん底に……。一方、のだめ（上野樹里）は、フランク、ターニャ（ベッキー）、黒木（福士誠治）と共に、コンセルヴァトワール（音楽学校）の進級試験を控え、練習に励む毎日。千秋の指揮者就任を聞き人一倍喜ぶ、のだめ。千秋は、そんなのだめに定期公演でラヴェルの「ボレロ」のチェレスタの演奏を頼んだ。妄想が広がるのだめだったが、その大役はひょんなことから、“天才ピアニスト”孫Ｒｕｉ（山田優）が引き受けることに。落ち込む、のだめだったが、千秋を気遣い健気に振舞う。 ＴＶスポット（予定）／予告編（予定）
