The two-part grand finale of Nodame Cantabile - The Final Score finally hits its conclusion. Shot on location in Europe, The Final Score films promise to be the final chapter of the successful live-action comic adaptation, with original TV series director Takeuchi Hideki and co-director Kawamura Yasuhiro (Akai Ito) carrying the series' zany comedic style to the big screen. Part two of The Final Score picks up where the first film ended, with successful conductor Chiaki (Tamaki Hiroshi) moving away from his cheerful piano wunderkind girlfriend Nodame (Ueno Juri) to concentrate on his career. Aspiring to meet her boyfriend's level, Nodame starts to work harder than ever to improve her craft. However, Nodame's opportunity to fulfill her dream of performing with Chiaki on the same stage is thwarted when famous piano prodigy Rui (Yamada Yu) steps in. As Nodame hits her lowest point, Maestro Stresemann (Takenaka Naoto) decides to give Nodame a chance that rocks the classical music world. Will Nodame and Chiaki ever come to terms with each other's talents?
