Konishi Manami takes on her first role as a mother in Noriben - The Recipe of Fortune (Non-chan Noriben), a charming comedy-drama about the healing power of a simple bento box. Based on the four-volume comic by Irie Kiwa and directed by Ogada Akira (Boy's Choir), Noriben follows the story of Komaki (Konishi Manami), a housewife who returns home with her daughter Non-chan in tow after a bitter divorce. Having spent most of her life as a housewife, Komaki's only talent is making delicious bento boxes for Non-chan. Utilizing the most of her talent, she decides to open a bento shop.
