If your girlfriend lives in a hospital, ask why Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
"Now and Forever" introduces us to playboy Min Su (Jo Han Sun) and his shy buddy Kyung Min (Choi Sung Kook) who meet pretty Hye Won (Choi Ji Woo) when their car splashes water on her as she waits at a bus stop. Min Su offers to give the soaked girl a ride, then takes advantage of the opportunity to hit on her. Hye Won's resistance to his advances only encourages Min Su to try harder. Soon quirky Hye Won has won Min Su's heart and even shy Kyung Min is beginning a romance with Hye Won's best friend Soo Jin (Seo Young Hee).

The opening scenes are played as very broad (perhaps overbroad) comedy before the film settles into a very entertaining romantic comedy groove. The friendship between the two male characters rings true, as does the relationship between the female leads. The romances that develop between the pairings are very sweet and spiced with plenty of good laughs, particularly in a sequence in which Kyung Min visits a film set at which Soo Jin is working only to find himself pressed into service as an extra, an assignment he takes very seriously indeed.

The film takes a sharp turn to the maudlin when it is revealed that Hye Won has a terminal illness. The viewer is left to ponder why Min Su never bothered to ask Hye Won why she resides in a hospital; it seems a rather obvious question! While the film's cast skillfully plays the melodramatic elements to the hilt, the film simply became too manipulative for me, as one woe is piled atop another. Instead of bringing tears to my eyes, the movie's last reel had me squirming in my seat. In sum, there are plenty of good moments in "Now and Forever", but the film's overcooked ending put me off.

choi ji woo does it agen Customer Review Rated Bad 7 - 7 out of 10
Choi ji woo does it agen as she captivates the audience with her simple smile and optimistic energy. But the story is that of a typical kmovie, nothing really special, no beautiful ppl except choi ji woo. I don't highly recommend this as much as "The Restless", but as a choi ji woo fan it is a movie to be added to your list of must sees. i give 7/10

love the movie. Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I love sad movie the most for some reason. And this one falls in that category. If you have seen The Classic, then this one is a must-see in my opinion. Both characters did a splendid job in their acting. I love the way the story flow together. If you like sad movie, then this one is for you. And the Limited Edition set is aweseome as it contains a digipack with a film cell.

Another Korean Formula Film Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
This is just another korean formula film ...of course somebody gets to die... but the twist in the end is truly unecessary. its not even shocking or heartbreaking anymore. I hope I get to watch cho ji woo in a diffrent kind of movie like sassy girl. ...

depressing movie Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
Now and Forever it is a depressing movie. sure in the begin of the movie Choi Ji Woo and Jo Han Sun look cool and cute together. there are some funny scenes in the first part. then it starts to slowly get depressing and to the very end. the end of it is very twisted and depressing. notice the title is Now and Forever. that should give you hint of how depressing it is. the two fall in love and it is forever. at first it is happy and then it gets depressing.

Rentable Customer Review Rated Bad 6 - 6 out of 10
After reading the synopsis of the story, I thought it would be very touching. However, I found the movie to be very disjointed and underdeveloped. The main characters relationship lacks a certain personal nuance, I mean, the director does a good job making their individual moments together very beautiful, but they are never tied together in a way that makes you feel like it is just a wonderful relationship. Instead you just have a series of beautiful moments that don't really mean much. Actually, I enjoyed Min-Su's friends character developement more. Hye-won and her best friends relationship was even more developed than the two main characters and the best friend had less screen time. Most of the best parts of the movie are at the end, but I do not think that they made up for all that lacked in the beginning and middle. At only 1 hour and 40 minutes long, I think they had plenty of room to improve the development of the characters. But there were a few touching/sad moments, I must admit. However, as a whole, the movie was too predictable, even if you are the kind of person who lets the movie guide you.

Bottom Line: An mediocre (and sometmes funny) romantic drama that tends to live from scene to scene rather than as a whole movie. The acting is not bad, and the story basis is good, but the main twists and lack of character developement leave you dissapointed in what could have been a spectacular movie.

You laugh and you cry... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This movie is a real suprise. Choi Ji Woo is very good as usual and works well with Jo Han Sun. The movie first made me laugh and than as it progressed I cried and cried. The love they had for eachother was something that makes you think that life is too short for so much sadness.
The OST that is in the package is wonderful to listen to as most Korean drama and movie soundtracks are. The extra on making the movie and interview is very nice. A must have and to see for all, not just Choi Ji Woo and Jo Han Sun fans!

touching romantic movie Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
i buy this movie too because i am also Choi Ji Woo fan. the influence is the photos of Choi Ji Woo and Jo Han Sun. they look good together. look like real in love. that is nother reason why i buy this movie.

Choi Ji Woo is Hye Won and Jo Han Sun is Min-su.

after watch this movie... make you think different about the meaning of the word (love). in the beginning Hye won and Min-su having nice fun time together. real in love. sweet like sugar. and very happy with smiling all time. but then he find out about what going to happen to her. he feel sad. he love her even more and more. she is only one that make him have love for her and nobody else. (he was a playboy but when he meet her that change and he stop being playboy). and even more sad... he has sad secret and do not tell her. he struggle by himself because he want to protect her and not make her sad. he love her very much.

when watch the end... it is very sad. make cry a lot. the part that is best is the video cell phone message that he watch of Hye won.

this movie is about real true loving someone. in beginning will make you laugh because they happy together. in the end you will cry a lot.

The OST is very nice too. i really like track #4 (i miss you by Chae Min Ji). other than that, this movie is very touching and will make you feel like a whole new person. A must watch if you are into love movies.
