Jazz, Soul, and everything in between
| Ayaka Hirahara is definitely the best new singer of 2003. Her voice is amazing and her ability to compose songs and write lyrics is absolutely astonishing. She goes through many different styles and genres on this album. Re:PEPPER is a fast-paced song that incorporates a little bit of a Spanish flare along with elements of Jazz, while there's absolutely breathtaking ballads such as her most famous "Jupiter" and "Ashita". Very few artists contribute to so much of their music and she has done just that, and almost flawlessly! Try this CD out, it's one of the best buys I've ever made... |

Enthralled~
|
This is very simply an awesome CD. I first heard her 'Jupiter' single on T.V, and soon after went out to buy it. Then I heard 'Ashita'. Then I bought that. I'm sure you get the pattern. I love her voice and her tone. I reccomend this CD to everyone. |

Very impressed with this singer
| I'm not an audiophile, nor very impressionable, and the last CD I bought was over 1.5 years ago. But I saw this girl sing on Japanese TV and I was enthralled. Went out of my way to find her name and get this CD. She has a marvelous (yes husky!) voice, but can hit high octaves too. Considering her age, she has a great future ahead of her. Jupiter is a big time hit, an epic sound. While she can hit the notes and do jazz, I'm hoping she does more pop rock stuff. |
