Once Upon A Time In Triad Society 2 VCD

In 1996, Andrew Lau's heroic gangster flick Young and Dangerous was a phenomenal hit and it spawned countless sequels, spin-offs, and even more imitators. That same year, the film's co-star Francis Ng starred in not one but two movies that take a darkly humorous spin on the triad genre, and they were warmly welcomed by critics and audiences alike. Both of these films were directed by Cha Chuen Yee, and the second film Once Upon a Time in Triad Society 2 - a sequel in name only - features Ng as a similarly subversive anti-hero gangster character in a new story with a new cast. In this outing, Ng is a cowardly pimp who works for the triad, but whenever conflict arises, he will choose flight over fight any day of the week. On the opposite end of the spectrum is Roy Cheung, who plays a smalltime gangster always ready to engage in gang melees. Then there is Cheung Tat Ming as an officer of the police's anti-triad team who doesn't really care much about his job at all. Tonight, these three guys are embroiled in an impending gang war in Mong Kok that will end with truly unexpected outcomes!
