You're Beautiful's almost couple Park Shin Hye and Jung Yong Hwa get a second shot for love in the 2011 MBC campus romance Heartstrings (a.k.a. You've Fallen For Me). Set at a performing arts university, the drama revolves around the competition and budding romance between a rock vocalist and a traditional music major. Heartstrings co-stars Song Chang Ui as a musical director, So Yi Hyun as a dance teacher, as well as Jung's CNBLUE bandmate Kang Min Hyuk, Lee Hyun Jin, and Woo Ri.
Saddled with her grandfather's expectations, perky college student Kyu Won (Park Shin Hye) is studying traditional Korean music, and plays the gayageum. At the same university is applied music major Shin (Jung Yong Hwa), the too cool guitarist and lead singer of a rock band. Kyu Won and Shin run in completely different music circles, but their worlds collide over a misunderstanding. They challenge each other to a musical showdown - rock vs. traditional - and the loser has to be the other's servant for a month!

HEARTSTRINGS

I am totally in love with this couple from You're Beautiful(YB). Jung Yong Hwa (CNBlue) and Park Shin Hye (model, actress, endorser) has the perfect chemistry. I really wished this series was longer than 15 episodes. This KDrama has everything in it: comedy, musical, romance, drama all put together in a nice package. The 'Dooley' couple or YongShin couple is definitely one of the younger idols that has one of the perfect combination in Korea. I love watching their BTS where you can see how playful they are of each other and how much YongHwa cherishes his blossoming friendship with Park Shin Hye. I guess when the YB cast met in 2009, that's when the ANJELLs bonded. and Yonghwa has always been grateful for ShinHye's support and friendship towards him since she's been in the business longer than he has. Yes, Park Shin Hye was the child actress in that tearful Stairway to Heaven KDrama. She's a wonderful actress who can fully portray any role that's given to her and she works hard and when not acting or modeling, she's attending school and continues to support a lot of non-profit organization like Feeding the hungry children. While YongHwa is such a great musician and composer, i've had the chance to actually watch him perform live at Nokia here in LA and he's such a hard worker and very serious musician, he gives his all when he's performing and I can fully attest to that having watched him numerous times. I will always support them. This series gave me the chance to remember what it was like to fall in love and the friendship i've treasured while in school. It's such a heart warming fluttering feeling...so if you want to feel young all over again, I'd suggest watching this series! |
