Spectacular swashbuckler

How in the world can this terrific film now be available only in this Japanese version? Known as "Bichunmoo" on the editions of the movie that were issued in Hong Kong and America, this film features some of the most eye-popping martial arts wirework you have ever seen. This is one of the spectacular martial arts movies you will ever see. It also has beautiful sets, lavish set decoration and costuming, and a "titanic" love story between Shin Hyun Jun and the lovely Kim Hee Sun. I have an old Hong Kong version of this film that I purchased via YesAsia that has English subtitles. I have no idea whether this Japanese version offers English subtitles or not. Perhaps you could check with Shochiku to find out. But, heck, even if you can't understand what people are saying, you still can enjoy this great action! |
