Park Hwayobi Remake Album - Kiss In Yesterday

Unfortunately, only a handful of today's singers get the nod when it comes to their vocal talents. Park Hwayobi is one of those rare gems. The husky, sultry R&B vocalist returns with a special album entitled Kiss In Yesterday, packing in a total of 12 tracks - all cover songs displaying her own distinctive colors. Featuring a wide range of musical styles from jazz and swing to R&B and ballad, Park offers alternative versions of some popular K-pop and western tunes such as Shim Su Bong's Bekmansongyi Jangmi ("Hundred Roses") (Track 2), Nami's signature hit BingGeul BingGeul (Track 7), Yangpa's Aeibulbi (Track 12), Lee So Ra's Jebal ("Please") (Track 8), Jackson 5's Ben (Track 6), and Audrey Hepburn's Moon River (Track 9) from the classic film Breakfast At Tiffany's. Recently, Park underwent vocal chord surgery which forced the singer to halt all activities including promoting her current release as well as finishing up her next album's production. But her fans remain optimistic, crossing their fingers in anticipation of the diva's return to the stage.
