This is Hikki's best single ever! The song is enchanting and beautiful & the PV will transport you into a magical world. It's my favorite song & PV from Utada Hikaru; a must-buy for any Utada Hikaru fan and a must-buy for new listeners! Her voice is so smooth and beautiful in this song.

My mom usually hates Hikaru's voice, but in this song...she loves it! Even if you're not crazy about her singing voice, you still MUST buy this.

Gorgeous, beautiful, amazing...just everything you could ask for from Utada.

I'm a hardcore Hikki fan and have been following her carrer since the beginning. But this is by far the worse song (not sure if you can call it a song)I've heard from her, by far. It's so bad that I can't even sit though the whole thing. Maybe this is a new style of music and in 5-10 year, every song will be sounding like that. I dread this day if it ever comes. I only bought this album to support Hikki and I deeply regret it.

Although I like this song,I will more like it if she plays the background in 'normal mode' but not in backyards. And I think Japanese version (Passion) is better than English version "Sanctuary".
Anyway,this song is powerful and one of Utada's great work too~

This single is AMAZING despite the small tracklist. Passion is sooooo beautiful. I think the single mix is better than After the Battle, but After the Battle has a large portion of the single mix's instrumental which is a pretty good plus. And to all the people who are calling this bad, why dont yu all find out what shes actually saying. Geez read the lyrics before yu go ranting about a song. the "gibberish" yu speak of, is her talking backwards. Of course they will change the rythem of the lyrics for the english version, which is called Sanctuary, like they did with Hikari/Simple and Clean, and that might ruin this amazing song. Buy this single today. Its well worth the money. The PV is really beautiful and imaginative too.

I love the song passion. I've read reviews that she's just getting worse with her songs but i like this one and be my last. Except the only thing is i kinda don't like Passion ~after the battle~ that much but Passion itself is a good song.

I couldn't agree more with tananime and Ash. I thought Utada's earlier songs were a breath of fresh air, not her new works like Passion and Be My Last. Passion is sloppy and her voice is irritating. It's not even a real song, just a jumble of her voice trying to mesh with music that is way too loud. It's boring and repetitive. The PV is over-exaggerated, and the song isn't worth it. And what's up with the cover? What was she thinking? It looks cheap and awful!

This CD is actually a REGION ALL not REGION 2 ^_^ which is good because i bought a REGION ALL DVD player but there are some FANS that dont have REGION ALL and i think they should change that to REGION ALL so she can get more buyers ^_^...THIS IS AWSOME SONG!

If you asked me to describe "Passion" by Utada Hikaru in one word, that word would be beautiful. In my opinion, the song is the result of a flawless combination of different music genres. For example, one can say the song is New Age, yet others may also say it's a Ballad. The simple drums, guitar, piano, and other minor instruments that compose the background further add to the wonderful mystique of the song. In short, listening to "Passion" is an extremely unique and fresh experience for foreign and non-foreign music fans alike.
