Natsume (Aoi Yu) travels to Tokyo from Kagoshima to find her boyfriend, a patissier at the Patisserie Coin de rue. However, she discovers at the patisserie that he has quit his job and gone missing. With no money and no friends in Tokyo, Natsume begs her way into an apprenticeship at the Coin de rue. The person that Natsume needs to impress the most is freelance pastry critic Tomura (Eguchi Yosuke), who was once a master patissier that is still trying to get over a past tragedy. Will Natsume be able to master the art of pastry making? Will Tomura ever use his talent again?
