Absolutely amazing ! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10

Most of the tracks included in this best album are re-arrenged and she has done a great work, the new version of ''Dandelion'' for example, is absolutely wonderful. ''The Power of Smile'', ''Ai no Melody'', ''time to say goodbye and ''Chowa oto-with reflection-'' are other excellent songs and there are also songs not relaesed as singles but they deserves to be in Kokia collection, like ''Watashi no Tayou'' and ''I believe-Umi no Soko Kara''.

A limited Best, yet awesome Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10

The first best album released by KOKIA. Basically due to a lot of reasons, most songs are from albums since "Remember me", and it only includes one song each from "songbird" and "trip trip". From this perspective she (and her fan who only buy this album) missed a lot of best songs, but all songs in this album are awasome. This album not only included all the A-sides and those songs with promotion (aka tie-up), but also from her selection, just like "Watashi no taiyou" (M-6), "Utau hito" (M-10), "I believe ~Umi no soko kara~" (M-14). And the Eagles cover, "DESPERADO" (M-8) is a great yet rare song. Some of the songs are newly recorded to fit the atomsphere of this album, like "Yume ga chikara / Brave Warrior" (M-9), and "Arigatou ... (the pearl edition)" (M-15), which you can listen these songs from a different perspective. In general, this is an introductory album for new KOKIA fans (I think core fans will have their own selections...), and you can listen to her deeply by collecting other singles and albums.

hey! this overseas item was release BEFORE the japanese version, and half price! ohhh, this is good, although many peope had already ordered the japanese version... ~ ~

As you can see, you don't have to buy the singles because all te important songs from them are in this collection, just one song from each single (B-sides) are not included, but I think that's fair, because of the people who bought the singles, to have something special for them too.

The TRUE "pearl" is KOKIA herself... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10

This singer is beyond extra-ordinary. I adore everything she releases. HOWEVER, like the previous reviewer...I wonder what songs are going to be included on this release. Normally, I would have already pre-ordered this simply because it is KOKIA and I have waited so long for an album by her since the glorious "Uta ga Chikara". But I didn't pre-order it yet (although it is most certainly in my cart) because I already own all her CDs and don't see the need for a collection (which I could burn myself if I really wanted to, from what I already own). My main concern is this: are ALL the tracks going to be pre-released songs? And if so...what is going to be done with the three singles she released in 2005 ("Dandelion", "Time to Say Goodbye", and "...with reflection")? The title of this release simply says "The Best Collection". NOT "New + Best Collection". I would buy this IF and only IF it contains at least some (like the 3 singles) new material. Does anyone have any information on this matter? And to the reviewer below, you made me SAD! I cannot play a DVD of Kokia because I am in the wrong DVD region (Region 1...and I'm sure her DVD will only be Region 2). I would DEFINITELY buy a Kokia DVD if I was able to view it. But thank you for the information. Maybe someone else has the information regarding WHERE her 3 singles from this year will be? Thank you, and support Kokia. She is a gem in her own right and one of the best.

yes! this is great news! a best collection for KOKIA, but I wonder what songs will be included, as she has so many good songs!

Besides, in his official jvc web, it's said there will be a video collection too, called "jewel - the video collection-"
