Electro Girls - Perfume's Heaven Scent Music

Perfume are a fantastic electronic J-pop girl trio. Their bright, fast, cute and catchy electro pop will enhance your life, your smile and your inner child as Kashiyuka, Nocchi and A-Chan’s childlike voices sing merrily over a sci-fi electronic soundscape that showers you with bright, fast, buoyant, wall-of-sound electro rhythms. With additional bossa nova poppiness, futuristic sprinkly synth cuteness and songs that are so infectiously catchy, will be hooked in no time. Being Japan’s prime 80s electro and 90s house styled techno J-pop girl band, if you’re looking for their ultimate early singles collection - this CD-DVD combo is the ultimate. Considering Perfume’s second synthetic album “Game”, too, their signature “Perfume” song [T11] also can epitomize the girls as one of Japan’s entertainment mascots of anime, game and action pop. This song similarly as fast-and-cheesy bossa nova midi electronics like the music you hear on Japanese RPG games such as ‘Grandia’ or ‘Breath of Fire’. Perfume are a J-RPG gamers delight for sure! But all songs have such bright upbeat electro dance rhythms and melodies, that they’re happy synth pop for sure. ^_^! Must mention “Electro World” [TR 4], which is just fantastic. This is where Perfume really rock! One of the best synth-electro songs on the album and with a gritty electronic guitar section and riveting beat, it’s a cracking song from the Perfume girls. Some futuristic Tron and Matrix type game world MVs, too. The girl’s cute vocals are synchronized in unison and highly fun with the electro synth having bossa nova and samba rhythms, Hammond organ inclusions with all the bleeps, tweets, plinks and synthetic sounds a techno pop album should have, amidst the fast, bright and poppy melodies. Songs are:- 1. Prefect Star, Perfect Style 2. Linear Motor Girl 3. Computer City 4. Electro World 5. In-Ryoku 6. Monochrome Effect 7. Vitamin Drop 8. Sweet Doughnuts 9. Foundation 10. Computer Driving 11. Perfume 12. Wonder2. Package also features a DVD of MVs of songs 2, 3, 4 and 7, which are out of print otherwise. Favorites for me are “Electro World”, “Computer Driving”, “Perfume” and “Monochrome Effect”. If you love upbeat, very bright and very fast paced cute danceable electronic pop, you’ll certainly love Perfume. Perfume are great, a modern fun synth pop trio with impressive songs that will get you buying more than just this CD. If you love synth pop you need Perfume! |

These girls are amazing!

I just discovered Perfume and wished I had sooner! This is great! Its like, Tommy Febuary6, multiplied by 3 and sprinkled with just the right amount of catchiness. I enjoyed all of the songs on this album, I mean, whats not to enjoy :D? The girls all look stunning as well. A real wee gem I found here ^^. This will not disappoint, I can assure you :). |
