  • September 15, 2008 Great! Twins rocks! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
All I have to say is that I really liked the movie! It has its funny moments and cool hilarious action to go along with. The cast was good too with a special guest appearance by Jackie Chan. This is a must see for fans of vampire movies also. One thing I didn't understand was some of the plot of the film which didn't make much sense but still entertaining either way.

September 9, 2008 Pretty good and funny Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
When I first watched Rob-B-Hood, I expected it to be kinda cheesy and not all that good. But when I was finished, I actually enjoyed it. It had a funny sense of humor which made me laugh through parts of the movie and it was entertaining. In the end, Rob-B-Hood was good.

September 8, 2008 One cool New Police Story Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
New Police Story is probably one of the best movies I've seen in a long time. don't know why some people are saying it was bad. It's actually good and has a fine storyline with Jackie Chan as the main protagonist of the film along with a great cast including Nicholas Tse, Twins' singer Charlene Choi, Charlie Yeung, Daniel Wu, and Andy On. Jackie Chan fans will definitely not be disappointed. check it out!

March 10, 2008 Good movie Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
This was a surprisingly enjoyable film. Though it had a darker and more serious feel, New Police Story is still a really good movie. The cast in this film are good too. I recommend New Police Story.

March 5, 2008 Good sequel Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
In this sequel to the first blockbuster hit, Jackie's character has been demoted back to traffic after violently arresting his crime boss nemesis from the first film.

After a bomb explodes in a shopping mall, Jackie is assigned to the case which involves a gang of bombers who are demanding $20 million from building owners whom Jackie must bring to justice. I really enjoyed this sequel because there's still the same humor, fight scenes and even bigger explosions! Don't miss this one!

    March 3, 2008 Jackie's breakthrough hit! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Police Story is probably the film that launched Jackie into the mainstream and it was no surprise that it did well at the box office because the film is filled with action, fight scenes and humor with supporting cast members Brigitte Lin and Maggie Cheung who deliver their performances very well. There were many funny scenes throughout the film and a few touching moments so you definitely won't be bored.

Jackie plays a police officer who gets a big break when he arrests a known crime boss who later gets released on a technicality and sets out for revenge by framing the murder of a fellow cop on Jackie. For the rest of the movie, Jackie tries to prove his innocence. I highly recommend Police Story to any Jackie Chan fans. This is simply Jackie at his best!

    March 2, 2008 Gen-X Cops is good! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Gen-X Cops is a good HK action flick with lots of shooting, fighting, hilarious dialogue and good-looking Asian guys to attract the ladies.

Basically the whole plot of the film is about three young rebellious cops named Jack (Nicholas Tse), Match (Stephen Fung) and Alien (Sam Lee) who are recruited by a police inspector to infiltrate a dangerous criminal gang who have stolen a shipment of explosives which eventually leads to a final showdown with a ruthless Yakuza crime boss named Akatora who threatens to use the nuclear weapons. If you're looking for fun action with humor, this is the one!

March 1, 2008 Welcome to the Flower Show! Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
Ok, This is the Taiwan version of the band's third album, "I Am Your Romeo" but it's given a different title, "Flower Show" which works well. I really enjoyed the songs on the album. Not something I would call groundbreaking or innovative but the songs are something fun and danceable people can dance to or even sing along to.

On here, this is where The Flowers experiments with the boy band style rather than their usual pop punk stuff. There's some "punk" moments but not a whole lot. Check out the songs on websites before getting this so you know what the songs sound like. Hope that helped somewhat. In my opinion, all Flowers fans should check out Flower Show. well overall, I recommend this album because I like the youthful feel to it.

December 25, 2007 Just plain fun pop music! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I'm just going to make this simple and short. S.H.E does a great job with their 10th album, Play, which sounds very well done. The songs make me want to jump up. What I like about "Play" is that S.H.E goes diverse from pop to ballad and even rap. Sounds like S.H.E had fun recording the album! I recommend checking it out.

December 5, 2007 Possibly their best yet... Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
The Flowers, probably one of the most overlooked group to come out of China releases their fifth full-length album while overcoming obstacles and controversies earlier in their career. Clocking in at around 37 minutes, The Flowers pack in a punch as they deliver upbeat happy feel good songs, ballads and a bit of dance pop rock.

Let me start off by saying this album by The Flowers is definitely their greatest effort yet and in my opinion, their best work so far. For those who don't know the whole story, The Flowers were accused of plagiarizing their songs back in 2006. The scandal struck a huge blow to the group and may have been the reason why their popularity never reached new heights. On this album, the band returns to showcase a new set of catchy songs to prove that they can still rock.

What I like about this album is that the band has gone deeper into their Chinese roots. Plus, the songs sounds fresh and new. The album kicks off with the catchy 1st single, Qiong Kai Xin, meaning Shiny Happiness, which takes the concept feel of the album into a new direction. Most of the songs on here are great and may appeal to Chinese pop music lovers, youngsters and to Asian pop music enthusiasts. I recommend tracks 1,2,4,5,7,8 as I feel those are the best songs on the whole album. The rest are ok. Last but not least, a bonus DVD (playable only in PAL format) is included for us mv fans containing two awesome and funny mvs for the songs Qiong Kai Xin which is track 1 and Boer Yi Ge which is track 7.

Overall, I highly recommend this album. It's worth getting and at a fair price too. You won't be disappointed.

July 31, 2007 Pretty cool Special Edition! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
If you're into the Flowers or Mandarin pop, this is for you! The Flowers, probably best known for their big and controversial hit, Xi Shua Shua, pulls off another good album. The songs are basically upbeat dance pop music, some ballads, and even a hip-hop song. Their music tends to be diversed.

Along with this package is the Flowered Season Dynasty CD and VCD that contains two music videos, interviews and footage of the group messing around. As a treat, there's a bonus CD which contains a trance version of Xi Shua Shua and another VCD with a music video, a hand-painted flash video by frontman Da Zhang Wei, band interviews and footage of the band members visiting America and various places. As an added bonus, there are exclusive red envelopes! This special edition is a definite must-have!

July 7, 2007 Fun and amazing album! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I first noticed Beijing-based pop rock band The Flowers when I saw one of their funny music videos. I thought they were pretty funny and their songs were catchy. When I first heard about this album, I thought to myself, "It's probably nothing that special." I listened to samples of the songs from a website so I bought it because I wanted to check them out anyways. The Flowers reminded me of those American pop punk bands who wrote catchy music which I liked by the way. So I decided to give them a try. I was kinda nervous when I put in the CD in my CD player and after hearing the first song I was amazed! It makes you want to jump and sing it out loud! Despite plagiarism accusations and other controversies surrounding these guys, The Flowers pull off a very good album mixed with Asian pop/rock, love songs, new wave sounds especially on track 10 and some hip hop. All of the songs sounds fresh and new except for track 2, I think The Flowers borrowed some melodies from German singer Sasha's "I Feel Lonely." But either way, the song is catchy. My favorite tracks are 1, 3, 4, 7 and 10. There's a booklet that comes with the CD with hilarious pictures of the group and a bonus VCD with the band talking and doing funny skits. It's all in Chinese so I didn't really have a clue to what they were saying. If you're into fun upbeat Chinese pop music, look no further than The Flowers: Hua Tian Xi Shi!
