If you like The Ring

This movie is a thriller/suspense that catches your attention in the first 3 minutes. You keep watching because the director knows how to keep developing the characters and give you just enough to stay on the edge of your seats. Ha Ji Won's best acting is in this movie. Maybe I was just enamoured with her. Either way, I enjoyed it. |

awesome
| i was hesitant at first too but when i watched it..i think its better japanese ringu...ringu is boring and it drags forever about some dum video...but this movie has more to the story then some phone ,it s about betrayal love and hate..the plot twist at the end to make it more suspensful...ringu lacks love and hate to make the movie good. this movie is about revenge which make this movie more intense compared to ringu...ringu has no love or hate but more of the girlwanting to be free....but the american ringu is better then the japanese unfrtunately...but th ephone stands on its own but theor are similarities |

Quite good, but not exactly horror

Before watching this i was told by friends that is was very scary...so high expectations there!!:) However after the film it felt I had watch a good episode of "Tales from the Crypt". The horror scene are good but not exactly shocking. I thought they could of made it more psychological as they would of kept you on the edge of your seat but thats just me... Watch it, you shouldnt be disappointed.... |

^-^ i enjoyed it
| yeh~ it is alot like the ring. but i seen this movie before i seen the ring so yeh. a i noticed the rain too... and then the odd placed snow and lightning at the same time?? i didnt really understand that. but its also confusing sometimes to tell when and when she isnt dreaming.. so yeah. ^-^ but i enjoyed it very much good movie ^^. |

Pretty good, kinda creepy
| This movie starts out as your standard horror movie, but then the plot becomes very creative and the story twists for many suprises. Because of that I think the film deserves much credit. But if you've seen a lot of asian horror movies like the ring and the eye, many things will seem very familiar like the girl with really long hair, the phone constantly ringing, and the scene in the elevator... Definately check out the ending though cause you're in for a bigger suprise! |

The Phone is decent movie. Not too scary, not too boring. But, it's mostly boring. Too much of story telling, although those are needed to explain what happened. The Ring's much better movie, it was mostly scary and less boring. They had scary parts in most of story telling times, too. I know this wasn't too scary, because I've watched it with my lights turned off, in my room alone. I am a scary cat, so I know this wasn't that much scary. This movie just make you wanna use less of your cell phones and stop listening to Beethoven's one song. |

Excellent Film!

I was a little hesitant in picking up this film when I read one of the first reviews here but the film is excellent. Korean's make some great horror films, just like Nightmare or the remake of the Ring they are unique and you can't figure them out in two seconds like many American horror movies. The movie has a great looking cast and a good suspenseful scary story. It earns as many stars as possible! |

| i saw this movie back in korea and i was sooo scurred ^__^; like it seems kind of corny when u read about it kinda of like da ring because ur like" o its about a phone/video" but its really really good and i recommend yall to see it and that lil grl..OMG SHEZ SOOOO CUTE! but shez soooo evil in da movie lol itz da jjang |

i watched dis movie @ da movie theatre in korea when i went der dis summer...man it was scary but da story was kinda retarded...but i still think it was good...i was practically crying cuz i was so scared...^^; hehe.. jus had 2 rite somethin...n da actors r really good...like dat lil grl..i think she's only 6...watch it...but not if u get scared easily...o yea now da song moonlight sonata scares me... |
