Plastic City transports two of Asian Cinema's most acclaimed actors - Anthony Wong and Odagiri Joe - to Brazil for a gritty arthouse crime drama that is as beguiling as it is bewildering. Directed by Nelson Yu Lik Wai (Love Will Tear Us Apart), best known as the cinematographer of Jia Zhangke who co-produces Plastic City, this Pan-Asian effort throws audiences into the violence and verve of the crime-ridden streets of San Paolo. Also-co-starring popular Mainland actress Huang Yi (Six Knights), the beautifully lensed, action-charged film floats from vibrant cityscapes to grimy prison cells to mystical jungles during its increasingly surreal journey of crime, camaraderie, and bloodshed.

Chinese-Brazilian crime boss Yuda (Anthony Wong) and his adopted son Kirin (Odagiri Joe) stand at the head of a massive pirated goods operation that brings in both money and influence. But the good times run dry when Yuda lands in jail, and rivals move in on their turf. While Yuda fends off prison attacks, Kirin resorts to increasingly violent means to secure his father's release, setting off a dangerous gang war of no return.

然而，再大的勢力都有崩壞的一日。對外有來勢洶洶的台灣幫的侵略、對內野良被好友出賣，一手建立的假貨王國逐漸瓦解，財產遭全部封查，每日面對被暗殺的威脅，父子兩人被逼走上逃亡的絕路。
