Pleasant Goat and Big Big Wolf is a popular TV cartoon series from Mainland China that wins over fans with its comedic spin on the familiar "the wolf plots to eat the goats" premise. The show began airing across the country in 2005 and has been a big, big hit with young audiences. The inevitable theatrical version is released in January 2009 and has attracted large herds of fans, grossing 30 million yuan at the box office in its opening weekend alone.

Subtitled The Super Adventure, the animated movie throws Pleasant Goat and his old nemesis, Big Big Wolf, into a "bacteriological warfare" inside the body of a snail. Inside Granny Shail, there is a biological warfare happening between two bacterial kingdoms, the Black Ox and the White Ox. In order to save their sticky buddy from illness, Pleasant Goat and his friends shrink themselves and enter the body of Granny Shail. Accidentally, they are enlisted to join the White army to fight against the Black army which is surprisingly led by their enemy Big Big Wolf. At the same time, the Cattle Kingdom is working on a sneaky plan to attack its two rivals. The goats must use their wits and bravery to stop the chaos and save little world.
