Ringo Lam brings hard-boiled action and gritty pacing to Point Of No Return, but it's Sammo Hung's fighting prowess and lovably sympathetic screen presence that makes Fatty worth rooting for! 沙展亞劉在辦案時檢獲一輯淫照，並將之交予其上司姜警司。未幾，亞劉即被冷血殺手大虎所殺。過程中被在大排檔內收拾的肥鵝撞破。

便探Pitt與劉是多年拍檔，誓要追緝原兇歸案，他記起劉被殺前與自己在街頭分手之時，曾路經大排檔，跟一肥佬有一面之緣。Pitt找得肥鵝，硬拉他當目擊証人，二人在回警署途中卻被大虎追殺。Pitt膽色過人，終將大虎拘捕，惜他隨即被金律師擔保外出，而姜警司更禁止Pitt再插手調查此案。

大虎為向肥鵝報復，派人跟其家擲燃燒彈，肥鵝頓無家可歸，Pitt為補償自己的疏忽，邀請肥鵝回家暫住……

After police detective Lau is ambushed and killed, his friend Pitt vows to get the killer. A series o investigation follows. Pitt finally finds an eyewitness to the killing - - Fatty who is persuaded to testify against Tiger the killer. But Tiger attacks. Pitt arrests Tiger. But Superintendent Chiang frees Tiger and removes Pitt from the case. Then Tiger firebombs Fatty's residence. Fatty moves into Pitt's home and strikes a fast friendship with Angel, Pitt's reporter sister. The two humiliate Tiger......

Under-rated classic! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
Why wouldn't a movie from both Sammo and Ringo's glory years be a hit? This fantastic thriller seems to have passed by most fans, or forgotten about by many. And I don't know why! It boasts some great realistic action, gritty drama, and some (at the right moment) humour from the mighty Hung, who plays a character most fans may not be used too. Nonetheless, this is worth seeing by any fan of his, Ringo Lams, or classic HK action cinema!
