導演：陳木勝
榮(成龍)是警隊中的傳奇。幾乎包辦警區內所有大案，破案率達百份百，風頭一時無兩。
鋒(謝霆鋒)是典型新一代，整天混在遊戲機鋪，精於胡吹瞎說，是個不折不扣的大話王。雖因家庭背景做不成警察，卻整天渴望當上正義的化身。一天，夢竟成真，化身青年幹探，蒙騙榮這個警界傳奇，伙拍追查這世紀最兇狠的?早? …
一群五人的超級罪犯打?氖?行後，主動按下警鐘，待警方到達，再鎗擊警察為樂。他們犯案不單為錢，還尋求把網上獵殺遊戲實踐的刺激。打?式A成為他們網上遊戲的一部份。為首的祖(吳彥祖)出身警察世家。因自幼受父虐打，仇恨警察，遂策劃一連串針對警察的獵殺行動。
榮瞬即偵悉賊巢，帶隊出擊。可惜榮被同是警察的好友森(王傑)所出賣，整隊人反成甕中之鱉，被逐一獵殺，僅榮能死裡逃生。「十子去，一子還」。一夜間，榮的好友同僚盡失。連女友嘉儀(楊采妮)當警長的親弟ROCKY(吳浩康)也未能倖免。榮深受打擊，慚愧內疚令他和嘉儀日漸疏遠，最終分手。
榮停薪留職，酗酒渡日。鋒發現自己的偶像醉臥街頭，遂從垃圾堆中把他抬回家。為要令榮再度站起來，也為滿足自己當警察的心願，鋒決冒稱警察，假裝成上司委派給榮的新拍檔，迫他復職追查「超級罪犯」一案。
「冒牌警察」鋒大模斯樣與榮返回警局，查案審犯，指指點點；情荳初開的警花莎莎(蔡卓妍)迷上了他，後合力幫鋒追查出已離職的森的下落。
榮與鋒跟蹤森，五寇之一的SUE(蔣怡)突然出現，鎗殺森於鬧市。
榮與鋒緊追五寇，激戰一場。五寇以爬山單車飛越多幢大廈，榮鍥而不捨，強拉鋒跟他從高空滑下。五寇最終不惜在街上掃射幼稚園學童，製造混亂，方能掩護逃走。
祖劫金庫，照版煮碗，想引警方墮入他們的陷阱。豈料最終祇得榮與鋒現身，祖被二人氣得昏了腦袋，狂追二人。遊戲調轉過來，五寇反被引進榮、鋒二人的陷阱。
最後，祖單獨向榮挑戰玩命遊戲，形式跟當天榮慘敗之役一模一樣的。榮決意克服心中恐懼，誓要和祖比個高低。

This has always remain as one of my favourite of all time.Jackie's trademark for his well-known daring stunts from PStory I,II,III during his younger days makes the movie interesting and also marked as one of his top movies of all time which rocketed him to stardom as well. To see him reviving or continuing the story to PStory IV was superb and also the return of Charlie Yeung after many years of absence and strong cast from Daniel Wu,Nicholas Tse and other veteran HK cast. Would definately add this to my collection. |
