 Falls short of expectations Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
This was my third CD by Koji Tamaki. The previous two are among my very favorite albums, so my hopes for "Present" were very high. Tamaki once again delivers soulful vocals, with very polished arrangements, many of them in a blues-rock style. Unfortunately, several of the songs on this album simply lack memorable melodies. Consequently, when I want to listen to this great artist, I will turn to my other Koji Tamaki CDs, not to this one. Recommended only for diehard Tamaki fans.
