'91年12月から講談社刊「なかよし」に連載された武内直子の原作によるコミック「美少女戦士セーラームーン」は、'92年にはTVアニメ化されて話題となり、その後劇場版アニメやミュージカルも大ヒットするなど、社会現象と言われるほどの一大ブームを巻き起こした。また、2003年にはテレビ実写版も放映され、好評を博した。
本作には、1997年1月7日に東京・池袋サンシャイン劇場にて行われた1997年ウィンタースペシャルミュージカル「美少女戦士セーラームーン セーラースターズ［改訂版］」の模様を収録。主人公・セーラームーン役の大山アンザほか美少女戦士たちの活躍を、存分に堪能することが出来る。
全宇宙の支配をもくろむセーラーギャラクシアの魔の手が地球に伸びてきた。楽しいはずの音楽フェスティバルの会場が、宇宙の平和を懸けた闘いの場となってしまう…。

Excellent musical for Sailor Moon fans Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This was my first Myu ever... and boy was it good! I've never actually seen the Sailor Stars anime series in it's entirety, but watching this musical makes you feel very caught up (though I don't think it goes to deep into what really happens between Moon and Galaxia in the end). I absolutely love the villains in this one (Ryuji Kasahara is great as ever) along with the score. Solar Miracle Make Up makes a great battle theme, while Sorezore No Elegy is sad and beautiful. I haven't seen many myus yet, but from what I can tell, this one is sure to please (as long as your a sailor moon fan... however even non-moonies may find things to like here)

I love Anza! Hehe
