i love this series its probally my favorite k drama of all time so far but i would have loved to have bought this on blu ray only there is NO ENGLISH subtitles! PLEASE think of adding them on their someone who ever....

I wasn't a type of sope drama holic before I watched this drama. but.. now.. I can't tell to anyone who is drama holic.. ha ha ha ha...sigh~.
In this drama you can find what Korean dynasty's elegance and beauty means.
The royal family wear the traditonal korean clothes,have a traditional foods, behave traditonla etiquette. But also it combines todays fashion on going. In korea, this drama has been smashing influence on TV audience (especially women).
a lot fan club of 'princess hours' has been working nowdays. they are all lovers of all players of the darma 'princess hours'

I finally received it after about 3 weeks wait but I'm not complaining since I didn't mind how long, atleast it arrived I'm happy :). The packaging was simple but protected extremely well.

The DVD was region code 3 which I thought wasn't going to work on my DVD player since I previously had some region code 3 DVDs and they were invalid region codes for my DVD player. I guess they were little cheap ones sold on the streets to be honest ^^.

The Drama is extremely good and fun to watch again. The chemistry between Shin and Chae-kyung is extremely good and I hope that they would have a chance to cast in the same Drama in the future ^^.

I really felt that this Drama was worth the purchase to keep for life rather than watching it on Youtube or Video before but now it's been licenced :p.

As a previous reviewer said, the subtitles may not be the best in the world but they are extremely good in my opinion. Better than my previous purchase, Full House's subtitles.

Yoon was extremely childish most of the time. I don't like Prince Lu but I was pleased when he took upon himself everything his mother did and eventually accepted his fate. Feel frustrated with the crown prince sometimes because of his coldness and pride but nevertheless you'll fall for him. The ending is alright but could have been better.

I bought this inhoping that the subtitles would be understandable. I was not disappointed! There were a few grammatical errors but nothing serious. I got the shipment on time and it was in good condition. Great series. Found it funny

After searching for so long,i finally found another site where i managed to purchase the region 1 dvd with english subs at a cheaper price compared to another of my regular site that was released by ya entertainment.

I would recommend that you purchase this series as it's interesting to know how a korean palace culture is like.Yun Hye's acting was excellent here as she truly potrays on how she coped in the palace being a commoner and always constantly being watched of her every move.For Ji Hoon,he fairs ok being on the main screen for the first time.I do have to say the veteran actors and actresses have played their parts well and convincingly.

Besides that,it's good to know that there's eng sub on its special features too.

Love this drama!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Drama is excellent! It's funny, touching and romantic drama. The casts were cut out for the roles. Ju Ji-Hoon and Kim Jung-Hoon, though both are new, played roles well. Wish there were more episodes to it. How nice if it could follow more closely to the manga version. Would be fun if there's a animated version just like Hana Yori Dango or "Meteor Garden".

It made my heart skipped seeing this limited edition but omg .. no subs.. that was really dissapointing! i hope someone would make the subs for it in the future because as a Goong fan i would realli want to have this!
