You can never improve too much on a good thing. Sony has updated the design on their Slim & Lite PSP, producing the PSP-3000, the third generation version of their revolutionary handheld console. The PSP-3000 retains the same excellent design of the previous PSP-2000, while adding a few cosmetic changes. The big differences can be found in two new features. One is a built-in microphone located beneath the screen, allowing for communication during Infrastructure (online) mode.

The other big difference is the improved LCD screen, which boasts five times the contrast ratio and faster pixel response time, reducing onscreen ghosting or blurring. The improved screen can also display a wider range of colors, and has better anti-reflection technology allowing for improved play outdoors or in sunlight. Best of all, Sony indicates that the improved performance comes at no loss to battery life!

This PSP product includes a Pearl White PSP-3000 console, with a textured surface to reduce fingerprints. Also includes an AC Adapter and Battery Pack.

Information you should know about the PSP consoles sold on YesAsia.com:

This console is fully compatible with all PSP games, regardless of region in which they were produced. There is currently no territorial lockout on PSP consoles and games.

UMD movies are region-coded for playback, much like DVDs. Currently, Region 2 UMDs are only playable on Japanese and UK version PSPs, Region 3 UMDs are only playable on Asian version PSPs, and Region 1 UMDs are only playable on US version PSPs.

The included universal AC adapter is compatible to any voltage.
