Rainbow In My Heart (Hong Kong Version) VCD

This late-70s Taiwan romance drama produced by Golden Harvest stars famous Hong Kong singer/actor Kenny Bee as an advertising agency manager, who ditches his two-timing model girlfriend (Terry Hu Yin Meng) for a Korean Chinese singer (Chelsia Chan).

The film was nominated for Best Supporting Actress in the Golden Horse Awards for Hu Yin Meng, who had previously won this award with At the Side of Skyline. The cast also includes Kenny Bee's Wynners bandmate and frequent on-screen collaborator Chan Friend, as well as filmmaker Phillip Chan.

The late Taiwan director and screenwriter Sung Chuen Sau was an associate of Chinese film legends King Hu and Li Han-hsiang, and was most celebrated for making Chelsia's first silver screen outing Chelsia My Love and helming Brigitte Lin's movie debut Outside the Window.

鍾鎮濤乃香港一廣告公司負責人，與模特兒胡恩夢合作得極為成功，已論婚嫁。在胡生日當天，鍾發現胡對他不忠，傷心欲絕。後鍾往韓國拍攝廣告片。鍾抵韓後，於電視上看到中國籍歌星陳秋霞，極為欣賞，便邀其參與廣告片的拍攝。期間，兩人感情日深。廣告片在港大為成功，陳一舉成名。鍾之舅父理基力促其邀陳來港，鍾遂打電話邀陳。此時，胡突然出現，要求與鍾再合作，遭鍾拒絕。胡大怒，宣佈與另一導演蔡永昌合作。陳抵港，承諾繼續與鍾合作。胡與蔡合作不愉快，企圖再與鍾合作。當她獲悉鍾陳之訂婚消息，便設法令陳誤會鍾為玩弄感情的人。陳傷心回酒店收拾行李，準備返韓。鍾知陳誤會，趕赴機場，將其截回。一對有情人冰釋前嫌，重修舊好。

Chung is in charge of an advertising company in Hong Kong. He's about to marry a model Woo. But Chung finds that Woo is cheating on him on her birthday. He's hurt so he goes to Korea for his new commercial.

Chung starts to appreciate a Chinese singer Chelsia Chen by watching TV. He invites her to join his commercial shooting and they fall in love with each other.

The commercial's successful in Hong Kong and Chelsia becomes a star now. Chung's uncle urges Chung to invite Chelsia to come to Hong Kong and he does so. Woo suddenly comes up and requires to cooperate with Chung again but gets refused. Woo's mad then turns to cooperate with another director Choi. However, she's not happy with Choi and still wants to go back to Chung. She finds that Chelsia's already arrived Hong Kong and engaged to Chung. Woo comes up a trick to mislead Chelsia thinking Chung is a playboy. Chelsia's disappointed so she wants to go back to Korea. Chung eventually finds out the misunderstanding and stops Chelsia at the airport...
