Emotional Taste
I personally think this piece of music is the best L'Arc~en~ciel album they ever made.I really liked this album because a lot of the songs were a little bit slow and emotional.Theyv'e got to a point where its really time to change and it turned out to be fantastic. So I'd reccomend this album if you your'e a fan.My personal favorite song would be "Sell My Soul." |

One of the best
One of their best work is this album, ray. Personally I love their darker pieces of music (like "forbidden lover" and "lose control"). As the group indicated in their interview, this album was intended to be a much more darker album than ark (which is ok in my book) and therefore is one of my favourites of all time. Most noticeable songs:"shi no hai" (above avg. pop/ROCK song), "honey" (good pop song), "snow drop" (one of their best pop songs ever, tied with "dive to blue"), "l'heure" (wouldnt call it masterpiece, but yukihiro shows his talent for creating this mood that you would most definitely feel), "lost control" (one of l'arc's best work), "trick" (catchy rock song), and ends with the great "the silver shining" (the mood....so relaxed and so calm, i like it). |

My fav Laruku album!
Among all the other Laruku albums, I love this one the best. Most of Laruku's albums are filled half way with excellent songs and the other half sounds like it's been tossed together quickly to fill out the album. Ray, however, is superb all the way. I rate it an 8 'cos one song isn't all that spectacular, and two songs sounds sorta alike. No big deal tho(I'm just picky). Snow drop, Kasou, Lose Control, Ibara no Namida, and Honey are among my fav in this album^-^! Another thing that makes this album radiate from the others is that--it's a good balance between rock and their emotional slow songs. Their other albums tilt to one direction or the other. I highly recommend this album, 'cos you're sure to enjoy it--and you'll definitely fall for a song. |
