Produced by Spanish football club Real Madrid, Real, The Movie blends fiction and reality to capture how the team and its charismatic stars touch the lives of people all around the world. Five dramatized tales of fandom are interspersed with Real behind-the-scenes and on-the-pitch footage. Real's biggest stars, including David Beckham, Zinedine Zidane, Ronaldo, Raul, and Carlos, all appear in the film.

In Madrid, a teacher tries to understand the Real passion that unites his very different students. In Tokyo, a young relationship faces trials because of the girl's love for Beckham. In New York, a female soccer player breaks her leg Ronaldo-style and must find inspiration for recovery. In Caracas, a young boy learns the story behind the 1963 kidnapping of Real Madrid star Alfredo di Stefano. And, in Senegal, a father goes great distances to find a TV to watch a Real game and bring the excitement back to his son.
