My first Gackt album - it rocks! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I feel that with a lot of other artists, they release a couple of singles and release an album with those singles, and the rest of the songs on the album are bad, so you basically buy an album with bad songs. Not with Gackt. Beside from the already release single songs, I loved ”Saynoara, ”Marmalade” and the ”Papa lapped a pap lopped”. The ”papa lapped a pap lopped” song is so cool, just like the name is weird. I just love the beginnging of the song when somebody shouts ”AH!” and another one ”OUH!”. The music is great too! ”Kimi no tameni dekiru koto” hasn´t changed much on this album from the single (changed music in the beginning and ending), but I still like that song. My most favourite on this album is ”Secret Garden”. Gackts voice is beautiful, strong, and I love listening to it.
This was my first Gackt album and I love it so much!

Compared to other albums, i prefer 'Rebirth' as the music in this album is pretty fresh and very original. 'Maria' and 'Seki rei' really give a big impact an me. I supposed that those songs are pretty dark and very 'gakuto style'- pretty original. Besides, he also included bouncy songs like marmalade and papa... that i think its much better than the song from 'Moon'album,'Another World'. It is worth to have it!!

Gackt fans......don't waste your money. Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
I had heard all the other Gackt albums and have LOVED all of them. One thing that makes Gackt so unique is that his music is as wierd as it is beautiful. Not to mention is great voice. But this album....it's almost like he threw out all musical talent he had and slapped a bunch of half finished songs together to release. The music AND his voice sound incredibly sloppy throughout. If this is the "Rebirth", then there should've been an abortion.

rebirth is an awesome album! every song on it is very touching, and reached down into my heart. it is my absolute favorite gackt album because the songs sound like they are coming from right inside his spirit, and revealing his soul. i have listened to it over and over for literally 50 times the first week i got it and im not tired of it. in terms of quality, most people may agree mars is a better quality album, but i still love my rebirth, just because i can relate to it better and there's lots of nice angst in it. if you want real music created from within the heart, get this album!

I got this cd around Christmas time last year (from a then secret crush-hahaha, the girliness) who said I would really enjoy it. Well, he was definatley right-these songs on the album are great! I love Secret Garden and Sayonara the most! (I listen to Sayonara whenever I'm depressed or tired) My friends who aren't even into the japanese music really love it too, the pictures are really great. I'm glad he's so popular and... buy this album now!

Gackt Forever!!! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
This is my second Gackt Cd. His voice was great as uaual but i have to admit the Mars album was way better. The songs in this album are....quite soft..very different from before but there are songs that are likable and then there are songs that makes you listen to it over and over again. 'Secret Garden' was beautifully put together. 'Maria' was my very favorite. The music was beautiful and the lyrics just makes you want to sing along with Gackt. The lyrics of this song was just so beautifully put together with the music that i listen to this song everyday!!! Others are 'Uncontrol', 'Sayonara' were great. the other tracks were passable. I highly recommend this CD to those Gackt fans. Even though I was a bit disappointed with this album, but spending my $ on 'Maria' makes it worth that much!

Not that good Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
AHEM! I really didn't like this CD. Sure Gackt has an awesome and even mesmerizing voice, but the music itself is lacking. It's too "pop-ish" for me, coming from a fan of Gackt's since Malice Mizer. I only liked tracks 1,2,5,7, and 8, with "The Secret Garden" being my absolute favorite.

Gackt is the best in Japan and around the world Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
One day I found this person named Camuri Gackt on a fan website and they had a sample of his songs, they are still the best I've ever heard. I love all of Gackt's music, but this cd I had to plead and beg for my mom to buy it for me. My favorite songs are: Marmalade, Uncontrol, Kimi no Tame Dekiru Koto, Seven and Kalmia! I love all the songs and I know you will too. We love you Gackt-kun in the USA!
