One of Gackts best songs! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Wow, Redemption is awesome! Gackt sings with much emotion, especially in the chorus and the ending chorus. The music, the melody... everything about this song is great!
Longing is also great, almost as great as Redemption.

Wow! Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
Well Well! People may argue that Gackt's best piece of work was his very first solo album 'Mars', however I think his Rebirth and Diabolos albums were both fantastic! His new trend of music however didn't just cut off there, he continues with another smashing single. Redemption is a very cool drums and vocals record. Longing on the other hand is a hard metal rock guitar, drums and excellent lyrics song. I beleive that Longing sould've been the title track but nevertheless they are both really awesome tracks!
They also both made it onto the Final Fantasy VII: Dirge of Cerberus Soundtrack. A definate purchase for any J-Rock Lover!!!

Something a little different... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
I've been listening to Gackt for quite a while; and although many people have started to complain about his new sound I find it refreshing that he tries new things every now and then. Diabolos was definately a breathe of fresh air after his previous albums 'The Seventh Night' and 'Love Letter' delivered slow ballads. Redemption continues with the Diabolos sound of heavy guitar and a hard rock sound. LONGING parrallels Redemption with it's heavy sound, but it's composition is indeed unique with a short orchestrated piece in the middle of the song before returning to the harsh guitars. I think that it's quite fitting since this was afterall a theme to the Final Fantasy Game. Gackt's voice is still deep and gorgeous; although a bit rough it compliments the sound of these singles. I believe if you liked Diabolos then this single will not dissappoint.

Oh no Customer Review Rated Bad 3 - 3 out of 10
Gackt stopped sounding fresh with Diabolos. This isn't in the least bit cured. It has some new things but his voice is still rough and the music is still basic. GACKT!!! Wake up!
