(2)Our Price: US$11.99Related promotions:June 25, 2007 CSCEIS/Ningyo"Can't Sleep, Can't Eat, I'm Sick" is an upbeat summertime track with a wailing trumpet and a sultry saxophone to accompany Namie's beautiful falseto. It would be a perfect track to dance to or even have as background music while you work, but if you repeat for several times, it's most like you'll get easily tired of it. Some would probably have more fun listening to the remix than the original version.
"Ningyo", on the other hand, is ... vexing. During some parts of the song, Namie's voice is perfect, but with others, it was a hit-&-miss. Though most prefer the original to her cover, I believe if you listen to it's beauty and not be analytical, you'll quickly get used to it.
Through all this, Namie looks gorgeous with blue-gray eyes, and her videos are wonderful as well. All in all, I believe it'll be a nice addition to any collection.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This) -

With techno being the basis of the album, she sung with a powerful voice, strong lyrics, and a determination to stay on top with "Girls On Top". While the infamous "MOTO" and "GOT" are great tracks, the others should not be overlooked. Although "Addiction" is repetitive, it's an addiction to listen to, and "I SPY" is even more powerful than "GOT" itself. "Autumn Letter" will sooth you with it's sweet acapella, while "Can't Let Go" will grab onto your heart and refuse to let go.
Unfortunately, nothing is without it's flaws. It sounded as if BoA had been crying prior/while she sung "Breathe Again", but one can eventually get over something such as that.
The booklet contains beautiful pictures of our Asian dancing queen BoA with a sexy haircut in absolutely drop-dead gorgeous outfits. This, in my opinion, is a must have for any BoA fan.Did you find this review helpful? Yes (Report This)
