I Remember... Customer Review Rated Bad 10 - 10 out of 10
"songbird" focused on her voice while "trip trip" focused on variety of songs. KOKIA's 3rd album "Remember me" combined these two together to promote her to a new stage. Most of the songs are performed in live before actual release of this album, and as said by herself, this 73 minutes album is her best in 2003. For those who liked "songbird" maybe disappointed a little bit , but there is only one song with style alike "songbird", "sora" (M-8). However, it is a great music break as it is put in the middle of the whole album. Luckily, KOKIA's high tone is as perfect as usual, and no one can replace her at this point. I recommend "I believe ~Umi no soko kara~" (M-11), especially at the end of the song. As the core of this album, "Remember the kiss (duet"KOKIA & Piano")" (M-15) was written due to the 911 accident, and it shows - My lips is to sing for love - the intention why KOKIA want to sing. This is utterly good when the market is full of love songs. Of course, there are other songs which is excellent. After listening to this 73 minutes album, I feel I am far looking forward to her.

I'm glad I bought her 2004 CD first.... Customer Review Rated Bad 5 - 5 out of 10
First, I LOVE Kokia! Her high soprano voice is angelic and clear and oh, so pure.

However, I bought THIS CD based on how much I adored her newest Uta ga Chikara CD and was a bit dissapointed.

This CD is good, but has WAY too much English on it. On my review of Uta ga Chikara I made the comment that I will make again: PLEASE sing in your native language. It's so lovely, and preserving culture via language in today's English-driven world is tough enough. It's refreshing to hear songs sung in tradtional languages...Japanese, Chinese, French, Spanish, Greek and others. Tossing in the English is merely distracting and kind of a sell-out, I think.

Overall, you will NOT be dissapointed totally in this CD because it IS refreshing...Kokia is always like a breath of fresh, clean air. But, beware it is almost equal parts English and her native tongue.

Still, I remain a Kokia fan and I'm glad Uta ga Chickara has even less English...maybe Kokia will cease it entirely. Especially in cases where the grammar is not even CORRECT!

In all seriousness...I will continue to buy Kokia CDs as long as she continues to put them out. She has amazing talent and a true ability to sing. She's someone you listen to and wish you could meet in person because you know you would like them. She sings and seems so sincere and sweet. An excellent performer and I wish her the best for her and her refreshing voice.
