Sugoii(wow in japanese)
this new fresh 08 single lets everyone know how morning musume starting off this year. Mikan was a good song 4 out of 5 tops, but resonant blue kills it.

With tanaka Reina and Takahashi Ai as main vocals this songs goes farther than before

overall this is a good song and should smash the oricon charts
but i do recomend buying this cd ..espicially if your a Tanaka Reina fan (like Me) or Takahashi Ai.

! Customer Review Rated Bad 8 - 8 out of 10
To add onto the previous review.

Despite the hopes it'll be #1 on the charts, i have a strong feeling it won't because of Johnny's (boy band group company) group is also ultimately releasing a single on that day. They are certain to get #1 weekly.

Sides that, i agree, this is a very good comeback single from thier 'mikan'. Fresh strong pop for thier new year. If this had been there post 10th anniversary single collection album, it would be very appealing. But i can see why now it's better as thier first single of the year.

My worry now, after Niigaki Risa, Takahashi Ai, Tanaka Reina graduates. The vocal strength of musume would be brittle compared to Berryz Ko Bo or other Zetima featured groups.

A Nice Change. Customer Review Rated Bad 9 - 9 out of 10
I loved Mikan. Alot. But it felt like it didn't have the "edge" to climb to the charts and impress Japan's youth nowadays. If thats what the music was like in the UK where I lived, I wouldn't buy it.
Upon first hearing of Resonant Blue, it struck a few fine chords with me. Good, strong vocals (albeit the same 2 people, but thats another story) and a catchy hook. I could tell the more I listened to it, the more I would like it. A satisfying offering from the Hello! Project's flagship group.
A much more grown up sound, that will appeal to more generations therefore hopefully pushing it up the Oricon weekly to a Number 1. Seriously, if you buy this you will not be disappointed.
It's just pure, good, pop.
